December 8, 2005 Wonder 3 nights?

This is Dh and my 2nd "wonderful" cruise we honeymooned in 2000. We are arriving in DW on Sat the 3rd. It will be me DH DS2.5 and DS 9 months and my mom and dad.

Its getting closer!!

I have been downloading some things for a while for signs. I also have some designs from the awesome people on the t-shirt board listed above. I want to make something for my DS's 8th bday, pirate party, our family, etc. I was really into it a few months ago and made some shirts for my kids from designs that people made for me. I can't believe it is really time to make the signs!!

Today Target is having their after Halloween 90% off sale! I picked up 2 black, long sleeve Halloween/pirate type t-shirts from the Men's Department for 99 cents each. Not even sure I'm going to wear them on Pirate Night but I couldn't pass up a 99 cent shirt!

Is anyone dressing up for Pirate Night?

I am STILL waiting for my stateroom assignment...........

I got my room, I got my room! We were upgraded from a Cat 11 GTY to a Cat *8*!!! I can hardly contain myself!!! I'm hoping I can keep it secret from my DDs! I'm telling them we're cruising on 12/5, but I've decided to keep the upgrade a secret (they've already been warned that *IF* we ever go on a cruise, it will be a Cat 11 or 12 )

I'm SOOOOOO excited!!!

We just got our cabin assignment!

Upgraded from cat 12 to 11. At least it looks like a quiet area. We are in an inner hallway with sideways cabins on both sides of us. And nothing noisy above us, either.

It won't be long now!

My TA has shipped our docs too. I can't wait to see what is inside! Now I am getting into the nitty gritty like decorations, door signs and packing!! Anyone started yet? Won't be long

Glad to hear the tickets are "in the mail!" It'll be nice to get something other than bills!! Haven't started packing per se, but I've started the "list" - all the not so obvious things - camera charger, etc. And, since we're in our winter clothes here, I do have our vacation stuff tucked away in drawers all ready to put be into the suitcases.

ACK!!! No hide nor hair of my docs (or my DME stuff for the land stay, either!)! I'm using a TA, which I've never done before, either, so I'm assuming they'll send it all to me when they get it. I'm SUCH a control freak, though...I want my stuff!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHH! Just found out tonight that apparently DH's request for time off for this cruise isn't "official" because it's missing a signature and he was told until that signature is on the form, it's not "officially approved". (We just switched from a May 2006 cruise to this one about three weeks ago) Now, I'm stressing over that! Only 24 days away from sailing and this... That cut into my over receiving the docs today, but he said it should be signed with no problem, so I'm hoping it's soon!

Well, we received our docs today. We are in a sideways cabin on deck 6. Should be interesting. I can't wait. We flying out the day before and staying at the Radisson at the Port and staying an extra day after the cruise at the Pop.

I can't wait. Is it time yet?

Our cabin is close to yours!

We also are on deck 6, but on the "inner" hallway with the sideways cabins on both sides of us. You may want to see the ship deck plan to see what I am talking about regarding the "inner" hallway. (I'm not sure if I am should even put up a magnetic door sign since hardly anyone will even be walking by our cabin!)

Yahoooo - our tickets came today!! Whether or not we do this trip has been up in the air since we made the ressies last spring because my mother is seriously ill and I didn't know how I would feel about being far away from her. So, I've tried not to get excited about our cruise (and prior to that a few days at BCV). But, when the UPS man arrived today boy was I excited, and as of now, the trip is a "GO!"

Got an email from my TA and she got my docs! Now it's just a matter of waiting a little while longer for my DME stuff to show up and she'll ship it all to me. I can't BELIEVE it's less than 3 weeks now!!!

Last night I made my door signs from designs that the wonderful DDA's on the t-shirt board made. I have magnets all over my fridge! We are getting close!

Doin' the doc dance! Got my docs today and confirmed my upgrade! I wanted to just read every word, but DDs kept popping in my office (it's still a surprise), so I had to put it away until after they go to bed. ARG! Can't believe it's 2 WEEKS from tomorrow!!!

Quick question - slightly off topic - but need suggestions:

We are staying at the Contemporary and going to Epcot on 12/12. We will be there all day, going to the Candlelight Processional and dinner that night. Should we put our coats in the front lockers at Epcot? This could be a pain if we are in the back of the park and have to go all the way to the front to get the coats and then to the back again for the Candlelight Processional. What do you do with coats at Epcot?
