December 7,2013 Wonder from Galveston

Just booked this yesterday. New to Disney- we love to cruise and decided to give this a try even though our kids are grown and we don't have any grandkids yet...so it's just us! The price was tempting.

I think we've got a FB request from you, but we sent a message on FB to confirm. Check your "other" folder on FB please, or post first name and last name initial so we know we got the right requestor. Thanks!

I can tell you unless it's amazingly small you won't get one under the be on the wonder. Dream and Fantasy maybe, but those are different beds.

Looking forward to this cruise and spending a few days in the Houston area exploring.

Hello! I'm working on the FE list so if you don't see your name on the google form on our FB page please sign up on the roll call list (also on the FB page) thanks! Can't wait to sail away!!!!

We are booked and super excited for our first Disney cruise. We have done the parks many times and as my kids get older we thought why not try the cruise. As a first timer...any suggestions or recommendations would be great. I definitely want to participate in the fish extenders. Not sure how you get into a group or what, but would love info on how the extenders work, etc. THANKS and can't wait to cruise with Y'all! :santa:

Welcome aboard! As noted a post or so above, the Fish Extender (FE) list is being kept track of on the facebook group. If you don't have access to facebook or don't want it, let someone know so we can get you added onto the list.

Here is a thread about fish extenders: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=33184281&postcount=2

and the basic FAQs for DCL disboards which contain a ton of information about the cruise ships and links to check out the information:

If you've done the parks many times, then you should know that the cruise gives you the same good feelings you get at the parks without all the work! If you enjoy watching the shows, meeting the characters AND the cast members, and the awesome service you get dining in the parks, but don't care for the heat and exhaustion of trying to get everything done in the parks, you are a cruise person. You get all that good stuff, plus time to get pretty for dinner, time to just lay and enjoy your surrounds, and get to see a few cool new places!

My favorite tip on the super long tip thread is this: pack way less than you think you will need, but pack a couple of jackets/cardigans/sweaters so that you have one that goes with everything! First time, I packed all shorts and tank tops for the days and sundresses for the nights. I rarely wore anything except my bathing suit and its long sleeved cover up set during the day, and at night I only survived because my sister was seeing us off at the airport and thought the airport was cold so she gave me the denim jacket she was wearing. I have that thing on in EVERY picture! This was a cruise in November, btw.

I've looked up the FB page...I'm assuming it is the right one Disney Wonder 2013. If not could you add me Heather Adams Graham. Thanks!

Added. Message had been sent inquiring to make sure, probably ended up in the "other" folder.

Welcome aboard again!

I keep reading the boards to get familiar with the Disney cruises. I think that we will have a blast even without kids along. This itinerary is one that I think will be relaxing with less shopping than the usual Eastern or Western cruises. I love that we can bring beer and wine...not that we are big drinkers...it's just nice to have our own to enjoy on the verandah.

Please Bare with me! Umm we are going on this cruise as well I know I have asked before, but is the FB Disney Wonder 2013??? I keep trying to find it. I am deployed and cannot access the link :badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc:at this time so having to try to find it the old fashioned "Search" way !LOL Also What are good ideas for FE I want to do this very much but but will only have like a month between when I return home and we leave for the cruise! Is the FE a BIG thing to take on with such little time or do you think it is doable for my daughter and I?? Also should I be able to find the FB page when I get off work tonight there will be requests from myself

Does anyone have any ideas on what special things they will have going for the holiday trip? Oh and in regards to the Tea with Alice, is that new and are there any other little secret thinks like this? I've never heard about it, of course I haven't been on a Disney cruise since 2006, so I might be behind in times?
