We just booked the Dec. 7th cruise. It will be my families first Disney cruise! Our party includes myself, my husband, four kids and my parents. My parents are cruise pros but they have alway done RC. The kids don't know yet and I hope to keep it a secret.

Staying at certain hotels to get the parking free, totally true we cruised on Disney Magic Sept 22,2012 out of Galveston we stayed at the Holiday Inn and parked free and they shuttled us right to the ship the morning we sailed out and picked us up and took us right to our car when we got back was awesome!! Looking foward to cruising on this years ! Only our second cruise My Husband, Myself and our 7 yr princess! We are SOOO Stinking excited I am currently in afghanistan and LOVED how relaxing the cruise was when I returned from deployment last year so when the hubby found out I had to deploy again he decided to book another cruise for us when I get home this year!! I can sooo hear the water wishing already! LOVE IT! Can't wait to see you all there! Can anyone give me any pointers on the FE thing? really want to participate this year! Oh and the Holiday Inn empoyees were a BLAST last years was a surprise for our daughter and we let them know and they played right along! They didn't say a word about where we were going or anything and when we pulled up and little buggy saw the ship it was priceless!!

Doing the FE is great fun for the kiddos (and parents!). If you Google Images and type in FE gifts, you can get ideas for all kinds of things. On our last cruise, we received everything from books, ornaments, magnets, to liquor!! LOL It was the best!! haha

We just booked this cruise and cannot wait to be back aboard a Disney ship. We spent 2 weeks aboard the Wonder in Dec as she went thru the Panama Canal. It was glorious.
By way of introduction, there will be 4 of us. Hubby Matt, me, 10yo dd Serenity and 1yo dd Belle. She will be newly home as we are going to China in August to adopt her. This will be the 3rd Disney cruise for the rest of us.
I will be sending a request to the facebook page, Matthew Jamie D.
We love the FEs. So we will be signing up!

We will need to come up with a cut-off date so that we have a firm count of who will be participating. My last cruise (the same week as this one is going to be), our date was at the beginning of November. That gave those of us crafters ample time to get our items together!

Not a bad idea. The last cruise we did the FE in had a cutoff as well. As the date got closer, more and more people were booking and jumping in. Ended up having two different FE lists since enough people came on after the cutoff.

There loads of events. There was a retired pilot boat captain gave a series of lectures on the canal. There were wine tastings, beer tastings, cooking classes, gingerbread house making and the original Belle from Broadway gave 2 presentations. Plus all the movies and Christmas events. 2 weeks was just about right timewise. We will definitely do it again.

Wow i just remembered I have not been here for a bit. Wow Life has gotten busy as usual. Is it bad I have had FE supplies for a month and I have not started yet.... i might need to get started. I know closer to the Date get the more people wil join.
