December 7, 2013 - Winter Fantasy Cruise

We just stayed at OKW and really liked the rooms but you're right, everything is a long way away. Never had time to go to the pool area and only filled our resort mug once because of the distance (we were in the Turtle Pond area). Enjoyed F&W but it was crowded. My DD spent a lot of time in advance figuring out the best parks to go to each day. Spent a couple days doing the water parks and the weather was perfect for enjoying them. It was on the warm side inside the parks during the heat of the day. A highlight for me was getting to see (and hear) Air Supply twice during the week!

Glad you had a good time. Yes, it had been pretty warm lately but no rain which is good for the tourists. We saw Air Supply too, they really put on a good show and I like how they came down into the crowd. Weekends for F&W are even worse than during the week. It was like a cattle shoot last weekend.

I just personalized my magicband and set fastpass plus for the day before the cruise! We're almost there! Almost there!

we are also doing disney world before the cruise but we have not been asked to do the magic bands yet. where are you staying? i called and they said we would be able to do it but still waiting for an email about it. then the next time i called they gave me different info. so want to do the magic bands. we are at the Carribean Beach. Thanks

We were in Turtle Pond as well! Building 39. the rooms there are HUGE and I love the fact there is so much storage area!! We didn't do resort mugs, but I would have probably been the same way about them. We weren't there long enough to really go swimming.

We were also in Bldg. 39--on the 3rd floor!

Can you select fastpass pluses? If so, you may need to modify your reservation to get it to show up.

happy Saturday, not much going on here, been working on laundry and cleaning up a vehicle as we are thinking of selling it. Have a lot of house work to do since I was gone for a week...(not saying that Wally dosnt clean up after himself) but he sometimes dosnt...

I am getting back into cruise mode. will be switching out my closet tomorrow and thinking I will pull to luggage to start to get things together.

We are starting our bedroom renos today We pull out the ceiling, carpet, trims today and tomorrow, patch up holes in the wall after DH pull out switches and light fittings to put them in better spots and lots more. Our mattress will be in the lounge room where I'll be sleeping for at least a week. The builders will be here next weekend to start work. I've bought new door handles and chosen paint color but haven't bought it yet. I'm going to be forking out $1000s over the next week or two

Ok, so I am beside myself excited that I got a onesie of Mike Wazowski with a matching beanie for my son and he is going to wear it for halloween! He is going to be SO CUTE! AND bonus: he can wear it again on this cruise! Woohoo! I just had to share my excitement with someone!

We've been cleaning as we go I couldn't believe the amount of dirt UNDER the carpet underlay when we pulled it up . The carpet is 22 years old so it's not surprising. The trailer is loaded up with rubble and will go to the dump tomorrow
