very quiet here at work today, we are celebrating bosses day and all I can say is I am stuffed right now. A table full of food and goodies in front of me....and I get to go to lunch in 40 minutes....

Well, I could have gone back today, but everything I could find said Obama would probably sign it sometime today, so Friday would be back to work. I went to bed, he signed at 1:30 this morning and we were expected to be at work this morning. My day starts at 5:30. I took leave, so back to work tomorrow. Nobody was real clear and there was no recall.

That said, WDW was fantastic as usual, though very hot, very crowded....MY GOODNESS it was crowded! But still a good time as always. We loved OKW, our first time there, though we were about as far to the back of the resort as you can get. Luckily, a shuttle runs every 20 minutes 24/7. They need it! LOL Everyone complains about SSR, but at least there you can pretty much walk wherever you need to go pretty easily!
Love F&W....maybe we will do it next year for a couple of days!

Wally and I did Epcot back in 2011..it was after our cruise and we stayed for one day after. So I just bought a one day ticket (big mistake) and we went to Epcot to walk around. So we check into our resort and then we waited about 30 minutes for a bus. We get there and it wasn't to bad when we first walked in but when we got back to world showcase OMG it was wall to wall (yes I know there are no walls) people. You honestly could barely walk. So we had lunch ressies at Mexico, but we had about 1.5 hrs to wait. So we hit one gift shop, walked (very slowly) to Mexico, did the boat ride then we checked in for our lunch (early) they were able to seat us so we ate lunch and then left. So I spent almost 200.00 and we spent a total of maybe 2.5 hrs there. I had never seen that place so crowded. This was around the first of Novmeber. CRAZY

We just stayed at OKW and really liked the rooms but you're right, everything is a long way away. Never had time to go to the pool area and only filled our resort mug once because of the distance (we were in the Turtle Pond area). Enjoyed F&W but it was crowded. My DD spent a lot of time in advance figuring out the best parks to go to each day. Spent a couple days doing the water parks and the weather was perfect for enjoying them. It was on the warm side inside the parks during the heat of the day. A highlight for me was getting to see (and hear) Air Supply twice during the week!

We were in Turtle Pond as well! Building 39. the rooms there are HUGE and I love the fact there is so much storage area!! We didn't do resort mugs, but I would have probably been the same way about them. We weren't there long enough to really go swimming.

I am just so happy I called about upgrading. It was less than I expected. Now I just have to try and keep it a secret from DH and DD so it can be a surprise, I am terrible at this with family.
