It's heading well away from us but there's a potential low in the Gulf of Carpentaria (the U shaped bit up the top of Australia) that may firm in the coming week. They're good generally if they move into the Coral Sea as they bring rain.

Ok enough talk of Disney Parks....you are all making me very jealous and wishing I was going now..... Plus a friend of mine was in Orlando and posted pictures on facebook yesterday of her at the Magic Kingdom...She was there on business but had a free day yesterday....she is heading home today. I really need to go to my "happy place"...

Well its Friday Sun is shining.....Wally had an MRI on his back yesterday, so waiting for the results..he is really struggling with his back issues...hoping that its not "real serious"...but he is starting to waver on coming on the cruise as he is having a lot of difficulty walking. So we need pixie dust our way....

Not much else is going on here...we are supposed to get up into the 50's this weekend but rain on Saturday and Sunday.....

I hope the MRI works in your favour and he gets good results. I got knocked over by one of the dogs two days ago and landed hard on my side and now it really hurts to walk so i can sympathise with Wally!

Well since I work in his primary care doctors office, I was hoping they would have fallen into his chart yesterday, but not yet...I'm thinking the hold up is that his primary did not order the test, he has been seeing a chiropractor and he ordered the test....
I'm actually going to call work in a little while and have one of the girls check to see if its in his chart now.

I'm thinkikng he either has a herniated disc or arthritis. I dont know which if either is the better of the two.

I have told Wally, (and not being mean) but I would still go on this cruise just ask one of my girlfriends to come along. He was ok with that, but of course I would be happier if he was able to come and so would he. We have time, so hope we can find some sort of treatment to help him out.

Oh well enough rambling....he is actually working till noon today..so I need to get the house cleaning done so we can relax later on.

Went to the D23 Fanniversary event here -- it was enjoyable, got a pin and a Wreck-it Ralph book with all sorts of images from the movie.

Wish I could've taken pictures, but they asked for no photos.

Less than 2 weeks to the world! I'm also still trying to decide on any Port Adventures I want to take on this cruise, but I'm not sure I'm going to do any and just strike out on my own.

I rate a movie on if I would pay to see it again or not. I wouldn't. But I will buy the DVD. I didn't get that fantastical feel or sense of wonderment I do whenever I watch WoO and I think that had a lot to do with the cgi effects. I also watched certain scenes thinking 'that would make a good ride' or ride theming. We didn't do the 3D showing and I think many things are set up just for 3D. The flying monkeys did give me a fright though! I also didn't think Michelle Williams was right for Glinda, she was too 'real' and normal for my liking. And I only appreciated Mila Kunis once she 'turned' as a witch. All in all I much prefer the surreal dreamlike feeling you get with the original. I love getting lost in a movie and its characters and I just didn't get that this time.

I am heading to Florida again this weekend for 2 weeks. Really looking forward to F&G since we have never been there for it. Looks like it is going to be getting hot.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a secret santa for the cruise. We have been part of gift exchanges on other cruises and it was fun. The FE doesn't work for us and many don't participate so I thought this might be easier.

I was thinking about contacting DCL to find out if we could drop off a gift at guest services to be picked up by the recipient. This way no one would have to attend another meeting.

That might be fun! FE realy doesn't work for us either, though I do like to hang my FE outside our door. I've sewn the pockets shut and put a sticker on it saying we are not participating. But the fact that we don't have children....we feel a little bit like it doesn't fit for couples.
