Glad Chuck isnt around.....as he'd be lurking and grab it.....:rotfl:

Lol....

I hope the snow skips.... I know I am sick of my snow.... Wish it would melt...:)

I am around, just been a bad few days for us here in PA. I came home from Florida this weekend to find that our 17 year old baby Edina (cat) was failing and needed to be put down, so I am a little down in the dumps. Our pets are our children and we become way too attached. Animal lovers can undersand the loss.

But on a more cheery note, almost 9 months away :cool1:

Awww...I am so sorry. They are definitely our kids, too. My daughter even refers to the cats and her brother and sisters sometimes.

Lots of hugs and pixie dust to you. :lovestruc:hug:

Got my copy of Wreck-It Ralph on Blu-Ray yesterday! Off tomorrow to get something installed in my car and less than 3 weeks till I go to WDW.

Life is good.

Oh I"m so sorry, Chuck. Ours are 10 and 9 and I can hardly remember a time without them. Edina is at the Rainbow Bridge waiting...and I know my Kisa is there as well.

So ready for this cruise! But we are 63 days from OUR trip to the world....;)

I can totally understand that. My sister had to recently put down one of her Dobermans :(.

Sorry to hear about Edina, Chuck. It's never easy to say good-bye to our furry faithful...

Chuck,
I am so sorry for your loss, I grew up thinking our pets are apart of our family. There has been 2 dogs I still cry about one has been gone 12years the other just 5. It's never easy, they bring so much joy to the people they are around.

Thinking of you!

Another example of the media freaking everyone out about the pending storm. They were making it look like the world was coming to an end this morning. All we have seen is rain. I loved the facebook picture that was going around with a map of the area with a forecast of 0 to 16 inches of snow predicted, can't be wrong with that prediction. :rolleyes1

Evening all:

Chuck: I agree with you about the weather forcast. We did get about 5-6 inches yesterday. However it really didnt start snowing really hard until around 1pm. Well everyone thought we should close the office and cancel the doctors schedules...so we did. I'm not complaining about getting a 1/2 snow day, but I really didnt think that we needed to close the office that early...I think they jumped the gun a little to soon on that one. So we got out at 1pm yesterday, and I got home first and had to shovel the driveway:confused3 should have stayed at work...::yes:::rotfl:

Nothing much going on here....just tired and wishing it was the weekend.

later

:wave2:

Well for once, it worked well in our benefit! We actually already had about 1 1/2 inches on the ground when I got up at 4 and ended up with over 7 1/2 total. The govt actually leaned forward and closed us before I left home at 4:45 AM! Now, they got next to nothing in DC, only on the grass, so next time they won't close. :worried: And we will have to come in only to have to trek back home in a blizzard. That's what happened the last time and why we got closed as early as we did.
It was icy at home this morning, but because it was above freezing in DC and they didn't get the snow, we opened 'on time'. They forget us in the 'burbs beyond the rich enclaves. Our county closed schools for today yesterday because of the weather we got and the temps were going to be below freezing and that would lead to ice.

Me too.... Although I shouldn't complain, heading to Florida again on the 16th for 2 weeks. Out of all the dozens of trips to the world, we have yet to see F&G because it was always around Mark's busy season with weddings. This year we get to go..:cool1:
