The Eastern one we just went on had a bit of rain here and there, but the winds were really high the first few days. Aquaduck was closed, and the ship was rolling like crazy.

I tried requestign the facebook group again...we'll see if it works.

Last year we were on the Magic for Halloween, we were booked on a Western, Hurricane Rina was making her way into Cozumel so on Wednesday before we left they re-routed us to the Eastern....
It was so hot and humid in St Maarten...we didnt book any excersions, we just took a cab to downtown phillipsburg and did some shopping and walking around then went back to the ship and swam and sat in the hot tub...the ship was pretty empty...it was really nice....

Just hoping we have some decent weather....

I don't believe that our cruise is in hurricane season, so I don't think it should be a problem. The water was rough in my two sailings in December.

I'm just happy that I have my Christmas shopping pretty much done except for two people. Less than 2 weeks until Christmas!

I went to put my second last payment on a layby (lay away) today and I'm dreading going back to put the last payment on it and pick it up. It was busy at the shops today :(

Other than that I'm done. Hubby will pick up DDs bike off layby on Christmas Eve after the shop people have assembled it for us and I just have to pick up the other layby which is a trampoline.

Wow, someone was sleeping this morning! :goodvibes

I have all my shopping done, NO wrapping done, half my cards done and no baking done.

MICKEY....TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!!:sad2:
Can we delay Christmas by, oh, about a week, mkaythanks!

I wrote out my 5 or 6 cards last month and still can't find where I put them 'for safe keeping' :) Today I shall have to re-write them (then I will find the other ones I'm sure) and post them. That's my only obligations for today :) I have a few books to read from the library so laying on the couch, reading, is all I have planned for today. End of the first week of school holidays, the kids are fighting and I'm ready to sail away!

Have a great weekend :)

Good morning from not so sunny Florida.

We have spent 4 days looking at houses (25 in all) and finally settled on a house. 9 miles from Disney :dance3: So it looks like we will be here next year for the cruise.

We were able to go to MVMCP and really enjoyed it. All the rides were walk on, the parade and Castle projection/fireworks were amazing. Character meet n greets everywhere and the lines were not long and moved pretty fast. Had a great time although it was really humid.

We got to see the new FL, and to be honest we were underwhelmed. Maybe because it is not finished, and with all the hype expected more. Plus it was dark so maybe some details were lost in the dark. We rode Dumbo, Barnstormer, and the Little Mermaid. BOG was open for dinner so unless you had a reservation you could not go in to look.

Today we are doing EPCOT, Dinner at the Rose and Crown and the candlelight processional. Really looking forward to it. Hope the new test track is running, I heard it looks completely different.

Time to head out to enjoy the park. Hope everyone is having a good week.
