I was actually thinking the same thing, once the holidays are over then people hopefully will start posting again. So we should hold off picking a name till then. That should still give us plenty of time.

I also like only 2 more days till Friday.....

Even tho the weather here is going to be cold......

only in the 40's on saturday......today 80 here.....so a huge difference.

Probably. But I will also say that my cruise that leaves in 'ahem' 9 DAYS didn't get much traction going until about 4 months out. It was really slow. Even now, it's slow compared to other cruises I've been on!

It's currently 26C/79F (wit a forecasted top of 83F) here, and it's only just after 10am. We're in the middle of Spring, too. Our summers are very hot and humid. We fitted right in when we were in Puerto Vallarta in December and everyone else on our shore tour was melting

Multi quotes are easy. On the bottom right of a post is the work quote, and next to it is an icon with quotes on it. when you click it, it turns color, and then click this icon on multiple posts and then click the quote button, all the quotes will appear.

409 days is soooooooo long. We just booked another cruise for May to tide us over.

I'm hoping to get a trip in to the parks....so when my daughter comes in for Christmas, I am going to have a "serious" talk with her and then if she agrees, I will have her book it before she leaves....this way we all get her military discount I really want to get my grandaughter there for her birthday in April....

We just booked the NCL Jewel for May 8th out ouf LA. Doing San Fran and British Columbia.

I hope you can convince her to go. Try crying if she says no....

The weather is giving me the heebie jeebies...not that it's going to affect me next week, but it will probably affect the people on the cruise out right now and the sailing next Saturday. Sending everything goes well!

I know, I think hurricane season seems to be lasting longer....last year we were booked on the western cruise, received an email from disney on wednesday before we left saying they were sending us eastern....as hurricane was hitting the western/cozumel area.....we left on the cruise on 10-29-11...I thought most of the hurricanes were done by then

actually, though most of the bad weather is over, the end of hurricane season isn't until the end of November. It's also still very warm. I"m going to hop over to DCL and see what's shaking over there....

Travel AdvisoriesTropical Weather Update

We are currently monitoring Hurricane Sandy very closely as it moves north through the Caribbean towards The Bahamas.

As this time, the October 25, 2012 Disney Dream sailing will depart Port Canaveral as scheduled. However, given the predicted path of the storm, we realize that the ship's itinerary will need to be altered as the storm passes through The Bahamas.

Unfortunately, the storm is expected to produce tropical storm and hurricane force winds near Nassau and our private island, Disney's Castaway Cay for most of the day on Friday and early on Saturday.

The revised itinerary is as follows:
Thursday, October 25 - Port Canaveral, Florida
Friday, October 26 - Day at Sea
Saturday, October 27 - Nassau (pending weather conditions)
Sunday, October 28 - Port Canaveral, Florida
The safety and security of our guests is always our top priority. If necessary, our Captains are always prepared to alter the ships' courses or itineraries to navigate away from inclement weather.


Nothing about the Fantasy sailing on the 27th. I've seen lots of screaming about the fact they will miss Castaway CAy. I'm sorry, that just makes me mad. READ THE CONTRACT!!! They don't guarantee and you are warned so get off it! Yes, it's disappointing, but Disney cannot control the weather. You still get to cruise, and now it's a surprise! I don't understand people.
