What webcam were you watching? I always forget to watch.

I hope all the snow stays out west. We had a nice break this past winter and it would be great if it continued this winter. We had 3 major blizzards between Dec 2010 and Jan 2011 with a total of over 4 feet of snow. We do not want a repeat.

Mark has a wedding today and I went grocery shopping, took a nap, watched the Hunger Games again, and just finished dinner. Very relaxing day. Tomorrow we have my parents coming over for dinner, last visit before they head to Florida.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

The Dream is in port today ( I just saw her :goodvibes ) I was feeling a little sorry for her guests, having to get off. And some silly little tug is out there blowing his horn. :(
I love this one because if I remember soon enough, I can hear the horn blow...so I'm gonna try to watch this afternoon since I missed the horn yesterday....

I know, no snow this past winter  I was soooo disappointed. The blizzards of the year before scooted north of us too. :furious: We are on that line here in the DC area that they can't ever tell which way it's gonna go. They'd get us all worked up for a big snow and.....nothing. But Sulley's with you, he'd rather no snow. I want to live in a log cabin in Maine, get snowed in...

We've visited the Disney Family Museum last fall. It is very well done and extremely interesting. I definitely want to go again!

Angie

I'm looking forward to going there! I love all the little pieces of Disney memorabilia you can find in little out-of-the-way places throughout the parks/resorts. Like the picture of Walt and Lillian that is on the Magic in the staterooms. Like the pieces of the Carolwood railroad in the lobby area of the Villas at Wilderness Lodge.....I go through One Man's Dream at least every other trip...

Morning all:

Well I guess we are in for some cooler weather. Yesterday was 75 out and by friday only in the 50's. I guess fall has arrived. I love fall, with the changing leaves and all...but I still love the warmer weather.

Well just finished breakfast and cleaned up that mess, now going to straighten up around here and do :laundy:and thats it for today..

I have another 12 hour shift on Thursday, however I have Friday off, but have to work a few hours on Saturday. Then I really need to start my winter cleaning....My daughter will be coming in for Christmas again this year. so I am very excited about that.
Since she has been in the military, (13 years) she has only been home for Chirstmas (actally on Christmas day 2 times) there were times I didnt see her the whole holiday season, or after Christmas into New Years, so this is always a pleasure to have her here. Plus I havent seen my grandaughter since June, I am having major baby withdrawls....

Well enough of all this chatter

later :wave2:

Ham is in the oven, straightening up before my parents come over. Last visit with them until Christmas.

Started packing yesterday for our cruise on October 14th. Looking forward to the time off. Just hope I have a job when I get back (pending layoffs). After this cruise I get to obsess on our trip to the world on Dec 7th. We rented one of the tree house villas for the first half of the week and Saratoga Springs 1 bedroom for the second half. This trip wasn't planned until end of August so resort space was slim pickin.

We received a copy of that picture as a Castaway Club return gift. Love all the Disneyana stuff but have pretty much run out of wall and display space! We grew up in the Orange Co (CA) area and John worked at Disneyland for 7 years during high school and college--guess you could say we're pretty much addicted :)

Yummm the ham sounds really good. I love the smell of ham throughout the house as it bakes....

So where are you going on your cruise? I have read a trip report where the family stayed at the treehouse villa's... when we have stayed at Port Orleans and do the boat ride to downtown Disney, we go past them. They look really fun to stay at.

We are cruising out of New York on NCL to Bermuda, my favorite island.

We are looking forward to the tree houses, I am highly allergic to bug bites so we had to stay there in the not so hot time of the year

We baked some spare ribs indoors since our BBQ is broken. Not only did the smell good but they were yummy!

It was already doggone hot here by 10:00 this morning--got my exercise early and can hide inside for now. Mom and I are going to Phil's at Moss Landing for lunch. It should be beautiful on the Monterey Bay today!
