We were on the Fantasy's first Eastern sailing and already booked this cruise by Day 3. Loooooooooved the Fantasy and can you imagine how beautiful she will look dressed up for Christmas???

We're Laura and Ray from Bellbrook, OH! "See" you around the boards!

Welcome aboard Laura and Ray.

And I am looking forward to eating at Pirate night. After eating the late dinner we were never hungry... now i can eat twice.. I am like you, I am a grazer....always looking for food. :cool1:

I sure hate to see food having to be discarded because of a lack of attention being given it. :rotfl2:
 Catch that jumping banana, peel it and it eat!

This is one nice group of groups, I can see. Ray and I are still in post-cruise haze after debarking the Eastern Sailing on 28 April. We loved that cruise so much, even though I couldn't do any of the port excursions.
I wonder if we'll like the Dream as much as the Fantasy?

If there's anyone looking for some pics, I started a TR from that sailing over on the Trip Reports forum.

Honestly, I can sniff out food anywhere! But I wasn't aware that there was any buffet at all for PN on our sailing. And I booked the early dinner seating for the same reason--didn't want to be stuffed before the PN doings. Where would it have been? Cabanas? If I missed it, I'm really glad I'm going back now.

According to the Navigators I've seen the buffet was in Cabanas from 10:30 -11:15 PM pirate:

Hi Laura--Thanks for sharing the link to your trip report. I'm really enjoying reading about your experiences. We were on the Dream during spring break this year (April 10-15) and there are a couple of very detailed TR's from our cruise (right down to the menus)! John is a retired naval aviator. He did an exchange tour with the AF (Cannon) and has remained close friends with a few friends from that tour. After retiring he went into teaching and is currently the computer resource specialist at a middle school. He also worked at Disneyland for 7 years during high school and college and remains loyal to all that is Disney ;) He loves what he's doing and it keeps us cruising! I am a retired special education teacher.

Hi Angie! I had to chime in...Sulley is a retired Chief! He now works Public Affairs at the Pentagon and works with the various Veteran's groups. I am a former elementary teacher now working at the Dept. of Justice.

To all teachers, retired teachers and former teachers in our group, have a wonderful Teachers' Day today--Angie:teacher:

Seeing there are some Navy vets, including myself, on this cruise I say GO NAVY. Yes, I guess we could include our Marine friends since they are a part of the navy department.

:lmao: OMG...I almost spit my yogurt on the computer screen....I'm a Navy vet and my DH is retired Navy, but my DFather was retired Marine Corps!!! Whenever I wanted to get his goat I would always point out that he was part of the Navy....OH the hilarity!!!:lmao: He said the Navy was just the transportation arm of the Marine Corps...... I do miss that man! Thanks for the laugh and the memories.

Was needing a Disney fix today and looked through some old pics... wishing I was on the ship right now.

Good evening,

This is my first post to this cruise. We booked back in April while on board the Magic. This cruise will be # 3 for us (myself, DH, DD (12) and DS (5).

Not sure if we'll keep this date or move it........ depends on the 2014 schedule once it's out.

(If anyone has any insight on when the 2014 dates will be out please let me know)

I dream of Disney Cruise Line everyday......... it's nice to be chatting with others who feel the same way.

:welcome: haven't seen anything regarding the 2014 schedule yet. Hope you decide to continue on this cruise with us. The board will probably stay a little quiet until we get closer to the cruise, but I know for myself I'm excited for this cruise! It will be our first time on one of the new ships decorated for Christmas and knowing how the Magic and Wonder look, I can't wait to see what they do on the Fantasy!!! This will be our 11th DCL cruise...yeah we are hooked!!!:love:

This will be our second DCL cruise and our 3rd overall. I have a DD who is 12 and will be 13 on this cruise.

We would love to do an Alaskan cruise in '15 as well, so once we're off this coming cruise we'll be saving for the next one! Unless we can't wait then we'll aim at the last Alaskan sailing for '14 :rolleyes1

I've joined the gym in preparation for our next U.S trip - so I can make room for all of the food :rotfl2:
