Happy Thursday

Another quiet day at work. Due to the storm damage, 2 of our sites are still closed and the data centers are down. So much for a fail safe system. The network is really slow and some apps are still not accessible. Many employees are still stuck at home with no power, internet and some have very little gas in their car because of shortages and long lines. Supermarkets are running out of food. It is pretty crazy. We were so fortunate.

MaryAnn, I know that your season are the opposite of ours, yet it just sounds so funny to me when I hear that you are running the air conditioning and the kids are swimming, when the weather here is like 40 degrees and were are starting to pull out our winter coats.....

Watching all the reports, I cannot believe how bad it is. It is just devastating and I feel so bad for all thoes people who lost their homes or have no power. I could not even think about how I would deal with the loss.

I can't imagine either. We were so lucky this time. Nieghbor across the street had a big tree fall on his house. We had the tree in fron of ours taken down 7 years ago, so glad we did.

All I have to say is, thank goodness that today is over....it was just a very long afternoon......it dragged.......

I cant believe that in 21 days it will be Thanksgiving. How fast has this year gone.

Kind of a quiet weekend for us. Mark is working tomorrow, but I have a few errands to run, then I might hunker down and read the book I never got to read on the cruise.

I have no clue what we are doing this weekend. We have to have one of our cars run thru the emission testing, so we may do that and then I have to take our dog to have his nails trimmed. Other than that we really havent discussed much of what we are going to do.

Gee, its kinda quiet without Stephanie....

Today will be a happy day - Mom coming home from the hospital - long story short, fighting cancer, and she's winning by a landslide, and Wreck-It Ralph will be coming out (won't be able to see it while taking care of Mom).

No big plans for the weekend either. Guess it's time to pay the bills! This weekend is looking to be soooooo much nicer than last Just grateful to see blue sky and sunshine!

Sorry to hear about your mom, but so glad she is winning the battle, I really like hearing thoes stories. I have lost way to may people to cancer, so I like the "good" news.

Tomorrow we will be at 399days

which means shortly we will hit our 365 day mark then the time will really go fast!!

I know we still have a good 28 days till then, but we are getting closer....
