December 7, 2013 - Winter Fantasy Cruise

Got home Saturday after 5 days at the beach club. Had a great time at epcot, stormalong bay, visited sea world (saw great shows: dolphins / birds, shamoo - got soaked, and sea lions - funny).

Still got to see the fourth fireworks at epcot, rode the new test track, soarin', went to the MK and stayed there until midnight and took advantage of photopass+.

Probably will make flight arrangements this weekend for December, and going to the renaissance faire this weekend.

Whew, that's a lot to report! Time to rest!

Wow, you sure had a busy trip...but it does sound like you had a great time.
I haven't been to the Renaissance faire in years...we used to go every year many many moons ago....have a good time.

Saw The Heat tonite, I thought it was funny...we had a good time.

I intend to have a good time for many weekends -- just gotta get some leather cleaner for my belt and mug strap (yes, I do dress up for the faire).

I have my sword/dagger, wooden mug, a jerkin (think vest) shirt and pants, and leather boots that go to my knees (but are a PITA to put on alone).

If you ever want to join in the fun, I can get a discount on tickets (but I've gone too much off-topic for now).

I did bring some of my ren faire gear on my first cruise, as they look "piratey" enough. Here's a photo taken on the Wonder before I had completed my costume:

How were you able to book this? Reservations are not usually available until late August.

Hope you get better fast.

I did it with a million others online through dining. I searched candlelight processional 2013 and clicked on the WDW link. There's a whole dis thread complaining about the booking glitches and server crashes

How cool I love the medieval period but have never been to a fair. We don't have them up here.

Good morning!!! WE ARE PAID IN FULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally took the money out of savings and told my TA go for it!!!
Now, to decide what we want to do before the concierge group calls me! I told DH he had today to get with it and help or he would be doing what I want and no complaining!

I dont know why men just dont get into vacation planning?? Wally is the same way, he lets me make all the plans, and then complains....HELLO where were you months ago when I asked and you told me what ever you want is fine....alto I did give him the martini tasting on the ship.... because I am nice that way....

Actually its a little more fun planning with Sue, I get more responses out of her...

but this is getting exciting...we are really starting to get close now.

Oh yes, it kills me to take money out....and it dwindles and it seems like I cant re-build it.....
plus am helping son out with the wedding, so I also just gave him more money the other day double whammy.....

I talked to concierge and I will only be able to book a 2-top at Palo's on my 120 day booking date unless the others are also platinum or concierge. So, I will be trying to get Palo's brunch at 10 AM on the first sea day. I hope some of you can get in the same time!

well I can book at 90 days....hopefully should be able to 10am on first sea day...then we can them to sit us together....either way, we may end up sitting together, why don't they just honor the request??

Well, I guess in case when it is your booking date, there isn't anything available?

I'm gonna have the same problem with my kids in January....a 4 day cruise so only one sea day, and they are newbys, so it's 45 days, I think. Yeah we won't be having brunch with them ATALL!!we probably won't even try.
