Well, thought that I wasn't going to be going again until this cruise, turns out that I'll probably be going in July for my nephew's birthday.

At least I know the weather will be warm (as in hot/humid).

*Dang! One post off! :D

It's been so pleasant this past week, but humidity is on the rise!! Today we are hanging at the resort, heading to ESPN for lunch then to the pool for a bit. Dinner is at Yachtsman tonight, our splurge for this trip! :)

Hi everyone,

I finally have an update that I can post for our cruise. We've made reservations for the night before the cruise at...Bay Lake Tower!!! :cool1:

We aren't going to be able to use our points anywhere else this year, so I figured, why not. We got a 1 bedroom-Lake View and are planning on going to the Christmas party that night. Seemed like a nice way to kick off our vacation.

I know it's only one night, but no one else I know would think this is exciting. I know you all will feel it with me.

Yep, been there in August, will not do that again...however, the flip side of that is...I would rather be in Disney with 100% humidity then at work....anyway, have a great time. :thumbsup2

Yea, sounds like fun.
I dont understand why people just dont find talking about Disney exciting. I have one girl at work that is a huge Disney "freak" so I have someone I can share my excitment with.

I find that exciting as Bay Lake Tower is my home resort!

I think I'll be making those reservations, too. Are you taking transfers to the port?

We're still trying to figure out the port transportation, but we will probably do the transfers. Just seems like the easiest thing to do. To do a town car or a rental, we'd have to bring our car seat and I really don't want to have to store that in the cabin. I know that the car companies say that they rent car seats, but we haven't had very good experiences there. They either didn't have one when we got there or is wasn't the right size for DD.

We haven't decided what we're doing at the end of the cruise yet, either. I think we're going to fly home on Sunday evening, so we need to decide where we want to stay Saturday night and figure out how we're getting from wherever that is back to the airport.

Good thing I still have plenty of time to obsess about that. :rotfl:

That's great! We stayed at Bay Lake before our last cruise and the transfer was great!

When are you moving down for good? Dave and I have a seven year plan....in seven years we can retire and we are looking to live somewhere near Tampa.

We are both starting to look for work. So as soon as we find something we will be down there full time.

how long will you be in there?

It's amazing how quickly those pups can heal! My cousin nearly lost her pup recently when it was hit by a car--but in no time at all the dog was up and moving again. (of course, that was after some major surgery) My daughter's dog, Lily, had one ACL repaired and then tore the one on the other side. This was a couple years ago and she's been doing great since!

I hope she doesn't tear the other one then! We couldn't afford to get that surgery again! She's doing well though, she had swelling around the suture site yesterday so the vet drained it of 35ml of fluid but there's no infection in the blood that the vet could find. She had a bit of a temperature so he took her stitches out and have her some antibiotics :)

In the far off distant future....waiting for us to fully retire and Wally keeps telling me he will not fully retire but cut down to 2 days a week....so who knows :confused3 I am sure at some point he will finally have enough of working and quiet completely....

glad your puppy is doing well. So how is the weather down your way lately?

Today it's going to be beautiful 84 degrees today....:thumbsup2

i hope Wally is continuing to recover well.

Rosie is doing well. Thanks for asking :) She is lapping up the special attention too ;)
Overcast and showers here today. Top of 79F expected and currently 66F at 8.30am. There's a chill in the air from the rain so when I go out for dog food later if might be still cool enough for jeans :)

I didn't mean to worry you because I'm aware of how expensive the surgery is! I'm sure it was just a fluke that Lily ended up tearing the other leg too.

Well, it's all but solid, going to WDW July 2-6, staying at the Beach Club (thanks to be BIL's discount).

It'll be nice to walk to the room after the fireworks on the fourth instead of waiting for buses and traffic!

i'm sure you will have a fabulous time.

Had today off. Went dress shopping with my girl friend, for Mother of the groom dress. So I got my dress. I am very excited, along with my shoes and a purse. I am all set. Having my shoes dyed to my dress. So will go back and pick them up in a couple of weeks. So that's one more thing crossed off my list.:cheer2:

Then we went to lunch at Olive garden for soup & salad lunch. Just got home a short time ago. It was a really nice day off to get this done. Her son is getting married 4 months after mine and they are having the wedding at the same venue...same room. Just too funny....

well have a good one

Sounds like a fun day! Our lovely low humidity days are at a end today! The heat was back with vengeance, but we walked the entire World Showcase!! Came back for a change of shirts, off to Tutto Italian for dinner!! Have a great evening!
