Absolutely, I was ok with changing other plans but the cruise was a boulder I wasn't moving.

yay! Happy to hear that! My daughter-in-law has a job interview next week and i warned her to be sure they knew up front about our January trip as it is almost two weeks.

Happy Sunday Morning:

Well so far its sunny and not to bad temp wise out...

Yesterday we cut the lawn (for the last time this year) and put away all patio stuff and pulled out the snow blower.. But I guess we are ready for the ugly white stuff..

Today laundry and grocery shopping....

I pretty much finished up my ironing last night. So all I have to do now is pack... Which is a good thing since we only have........

Very excited, I just got back from shopping and I was able to pick up everything I needed for the cruise... Lets just say I am ready to start packing...

Dave cut ours for the last time in the season, also sucked up all the leaves out of the yard. Then he stood in the breakfast room window cursing the trees on the hill behind us as they dumped more leaves on his nicely cleaned area. It looks like he never touched it! LOL.
I also reminded him after seeing your post he needs to check out our snow blower as well. It's going to be a looooong winter, I'm afraid as they are calling for snow flurries (no accumulation) on Thursday!

Door decorations as Ive bedn on 11 cruises and have never decorated my door

Anyone want to share transport for excursions?

Also are people seated with other families who have children of a similar age?
I have - 4 year old son who likes sid the science kid, peppa pig and math- families with children of similar interests message me please.

Glad to have you aboard! Denise has pretty much covered your questions.

Most of the door decorations are just different magnets that people use/make to personalize their stateroom door. If you look at some of the Facebook groups such as 'graphics for all lovers of Disney' you can get an idea of the magnets people use. Also there might be a thread in the Cruise portion of DIS. the one thing to remember…NO TAPE or STICKERS allowed as it damages the door and DCL will make you pay for the repair.

We love decorating our door! It's so much fun to come down the hall and see it and also see the creativity of others!

I'm being bad this time, I did not do any door signs. I usually do, but this time I did not, plus last time, I noticed that my magnets were leaving marks on the door and since they will be charging for this, I just thought forget it...once I am there, I most likely will miss them.....

I didn't do them this time either, Denise, though I didn't notice any marks on the door from the ones in the past. I was told that the doors in Concierge were covered with a wood paneling and the magnets would not hold unless they were very very strong, which you know that magnet paper is not very strong!

I think I will miss that most of all. I've always had such fun coming up with them. Oh well, I have THREE doors to cover in January!!!

We have a leaf blower DH uses it a lot because we have so many trees that blow their leaves over the verandahs.
