I booked this "MouseFest" cruise in Jan. 2008 while on my first Disney cruise, then cancelled it a few months later. In June 2009, I asked my friend Vicki if she wanted to go on the Dec. 2010 DIS Podcast cruise. She said she was interested, but was looking for a roommate for this "Reunion" cruise. Long story short - we booked this cruise, and we're also going to be at WDW for the "Reunion" events post-cruise! That's also the same weekend as DISapalooza (http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2293787).

Just booked this cruise today for our 10th Anniversary. Can't believe that this will be our 3rd this year but our first time on the Wonder.Will be going back to WDW for a week after as well. Would be interested in the FE exchange. Haven't been able to read the whole thread yet, but who do we contact about it? There will just be my husband Doug and myself Audrey. Is there anything planned...a get together, bracelets etc....

I think you'll like it. I loved it! If only I could convince DW to cruise without the kids. But, the jury's still out on whether she likes cruising enough to go alone.

Thanks! My wife if a Disney junkie enough, so it wasn't too hard to convince her. She's the one that turned me into a Disney fan as well. When we first went (before children) I wasn't sure I would like it. And now a few years later, it seems that we can't get enough! Just live a bit too far out to make it a weekend excursion.

Same for us. It would be nice to be able to take advantage when there are good deals. My wife's idea of a vacation is a nice hotel and a theme park. Disney fits her perfectly. Oh, and the kids like it too!

On a side note, has anyone done the Pirates in the Caribbean night before and can help me decide if it's worth going to that or eating at Palo? I didn't realize that I had made our Palo reservation the night of the Pirates thingy. And of course on trying to reschedule, there is nothing available. We're set for 9pm on that night. Not sure if we would have time to finish dinner and then enjoy the party as well. Thanks for any info.

We enjoyed the Pirate night. In my opinion, it is similar to the sail away party, only pirate themed. They have a little pirate show. The kids really enjoyed it. I think I liked the buffet the best. We enjoyed all the desserts we tried. We had eaten earlier, so we didn't get anything from the food buffet. We have not eaten at Palo, but I understand it is an excellent dining experience.

Our last cruise, someone took charge of the FE. They collected info on party size (with ages) and stateroom number. Since there were quite a few of us, the list was divided. We gave and received small gifts to each family on our list daily. It was fun, but we've decided not to participate this time.

We're getting more and more excited. We're also staying in WDW just before the cruise. The night before, we will be staying at the Radisson at the port since we wanted to make sure we were nearby for our first cruise.

I just looked up their website, and I would bet that the pizza or chinese place delivers. Zachary's family restaurant might even be close enough to walk (it claims half mile), but no telling what kind of food. Did a quick search and here's the website for it since Marriott didn't include it zacharysrestaurant.com
It might even be possible to meet up with some fellow cruisers before heading out!

Since I have the second post on the thread, I thought maybe I could spearhead the FE. If that's OK with everyone, I'll simply update that second post with info on people participating in the FE. I would love to participate in a FE. Never cruised before so I don't know how it works but I'm in.

We are heading down to WDW 12/1 to 12/6 before we get on the Wonder. We'll be taking a town car that morning to port.

We are doing the land & sea package...so we will be there on the 3rd. We are staying at the Grand Floridian... Maybe we can meet @ MK on Saturday
