Thanks for all welcomes! I have to say that thinking about another cruise, even if it's that far away sure makes my heart happy. I'll make that final decision in the next few weeks. I've never been on the Magic so that is a plus too. The last cruise we took was a 4 night because I didn't know if we'd like it and didn't want to be stuck. What was I thinking? Of course we loved it. We both cried that last morning because it was over way too soon!

You will LOVE LOVE LOVE the Magic!! It's the only ship I have been on, but from what I understand there aren't a lot of major differences, so the layout should be familiar to you Just a little different deocor

I agree about our activity increasing for sure!!! I have a cruised booked on Carnival this year for the same date in December as the Cruisin Nut's, and our group on Cruise Critic is nothing like one on the DIS would be 6 months out from a cruise! I am still very excited to be trying a new line, I just miss the buildup from my fellow DIS'ers I am hoping as it gets closer to my sail date for this year that our thread will pickup, I have no doubts what so ever about THIS thread being hopping by this time next year I do heart the DIS

You guys crack me up! You remind me of me! I am on the Sept 26th thread and I count down every day! I know I am driving the others nuts (96 more days by the way lol). You guys just sound like a very energetic (and active) group!

Anyhoo, I am really wanting to book this cruise but I havent been on my first one yet! I just know I am going to love it (I even canceled going to WDW after the 26th cruse to do a b2b!) but I want to book on board to get the extra discounts and OBC.

I guess I just wanted to say hi. It will be me (41 then and will 42 dec 27th...wow didnt think of that!...but dont tell anyone shhhhh), my mom (grandmother...you know I can't tell her age!), and my daughter Victoria who will be 10 then. I am glad to know there will be one or two near her age! She is a VERY social child...which really doesnt mix well being an only child and homeschooled

If you are still looking for an FE coordinator, I have been appointed...kinda...on my other thread so I wouldn't mind volunteering again, but understand how you can't assign it to me since I havent booked yet! LOL

Jen!!!!!! You sooooo need to book this cruise And do wait til you are onboard before you book cuz that 10% off and $200 OBC is AWESOME!!!!! We booked this one while on our last one Switched it to a TA and got even more OBC, so it works out very well! I can't wait til this cruise, like I said we have one booked for this December on CCL which I am super excited about, but my group on Cruise Critic is.......not so active yet Good thing I have this trip booked so I can come on here and have my fellow DIS'ers sharing the enthusiasm!!! I do the DIS!!!!! It's my true home

Again good to have you "unofficially" join the group Oh and I totally hear ya about counting down the days! 165 til my cruise this year (technically only163 cuz we're leaving 2 days early ) and 529 days til this one Can't wait!!!

Thanks for the welcome! I was kinda torn between this one and the westbound caribbean cruise because I thought going into ports the first couple of days will help me get used to the sea before having total sea days but when I read cruizin' nuts post on that we get an extra sea day on this one, I was hooked! THEN you guys were SOOOOO much more active and I thought "THIS is the group for me!!"

I am 96 days out because we are leaving Nashville on a Friday night to get to PC by Saturday sometime and we have extra time to get there in case of any arising problems. I am on our thread at least once a day to put the countdown hehehe

They get my countdown. It is a day off but oh well!

I can't wait to do the Christmas stuff! I didnt know you got $200 OBC then! I was going to use my DU TA to get the $100 OBC there too (I think that's right) so $300??? Do you know how many dooney and Burke purses you can buy with that!?!? well, 1 1/2 but it's free!!! I am going to get me some magnet graphics from Jordak and crew! lol OOHH and some chipmonk stuff! hehe

After you have officially booked while aboard (Excellent decision!), click on "Join Us" on our Return of the Cruisin' Nuts 2011 website, complete and submit the form and I'll then add all your info to our cruiser list. And thank you SO much for volunteering to head the FE! It's no problem waiting until you have booked this one to officially assign the FE coordinator, but consider it done as you are the first to volunteer for it and are much appreciated!

I love how you are so organized! You have the meets already planned out and everything! I am impressed and in awe. I saw you when you requested your magnets from the thread. I thought it was so cute with Chip and Dale! I thought, that sounds like a fun cruise! Who would have thunk it that I would be signing up! hehe <singing> It's a small world after all!</singing> (OK ill stop)

I love organizing things (but I an no where near as good as you are but plan to learn some things from you though!) so I am so glad that I was able to volunteer! Oh and, I already know what I am going to do for the FE gifts! hehehe

Many years ago I was a webmaster for a tech company & was their photojournalist for daily columns from Fall COMDEX in Las Vegas (Yay - Road trip!), but now I only do sites on a voluntary basis. I've been doing HTML from scratch since HTML 1.0 - lol - so I'm old-fashioned, but for the site for this cruise I was so busy with other things that I used the Google sites features so it was a snap. The 2010 Cruisin Nuts one is straight HTML. That site so far has a lot more graphics than the one for 2011, but that's because it's mostly from my photos and a former CM Chip 'n' Dale specialist artist friend of mine. And since this 2011 sailing is a "Return" of the Cruisin' Nuts, I had a head start on activity organization and such.

This cruise is shaping up beautifully! I expect we may also have some book it after this December's Cruisin' Nuts. We could take over the ship!

(NOTE: I have had to change my cruise dates and am no longer on this sailing.)

I am an old fashion girl too. I was very comfortable in my asp that I was NOT happy learning .NET! It wouldn't be so bad if work didnt make me code EVERYTHING and no allow me to use the interface. But it works out. I learn so much more for job security, but still not happy with it LOL I really like the lay out! I am NOT a design person. The pages that I design, will make your eyes hurt! I just dont see it So they stick me behind the scenes and that is just DANDY with me!

wow I am glad that I am going to be able to book it in September! I would hate to come after the long line of people that will book after your first Cruizin nuts cruise! LOL I have a funny feeling this is going to be a BIG group! YAY!!!

I LOVE being part of a group where it is so organized and I get to just be part of it, but not do all the hard work No seriously in case I forget, Taswira, thank you so much for the awesome work you do! I know I totally appreciate it, and it makes the group so much more fun, it's people like you that make these groups all worth it!

Jen you sound like you are an absolute blast! This cruise is gonna rock!! Just outta curiosity anyone coming down the day before our cruise?? We will be (we always do) and I actually have already booked our room at the Radisson sooooooo if anyone else is staying there maybe we could do a mini meet and greet by the pool, we had one last year and it was sooooo much fun Any who just a thought, I am well aware of how long we have til this trip My sister calls me OCD I call me prepared

Thanks for the appreciation, Holley! It IS "the group" that makes the fun in the cruise, so I appreciate every one of you! I did the site to help attract people to our cruise and add something different and fun (ie. Chip 'n' Dale theme), but the success of all the planned get-togethers (meaning the "fun factor") will depend entirely on the participation of our Cruisin' Nuts. The reason there are so many planned is because obviously everyone has their own family priorities and interests, but hopefully the choices will give us all the opportunity to meet each other before the cruise is over. Then after the cruise we can decorate the site with photos from our get-togethers as an "online scrapbook."
