December 23, 2009 ~ Christmas on the Wonder!

How's everyone doing?? Another boring day here...though I have a ton of things I really should be working on...like school work. LOL

Well, it's back to the 80's here again. During the weekend it actually was in the 50-60 range!! My kids loved it. They felt like they were back in NY. (I forgot I never changed my avatar, we're in Orlando now). I'm sure the vacationers were shocked at how cold their sailaways were over the weekend.

I'm still trying to figure out what we're doing for pirate night. But first, I have to get passed the Halloween costumes and parties. Since we're doing the Thanksgiving Magic sailing too, I don't want to wear the same things for both - got pix purposes only!!!

Awe!! That is soooo sweet. I adore Yorkies...I think they just have the sweetest little faces. Our pup is a Hound (we think Rhodisian Ridgeback) and a Big Girl. Lol She thinks she's a lap dog...but not so much.

Thank you so much!! That is Very sweet of you!! The real reason I'm trying to wait as long as possible is that I'm trying to lose weight...so I'm not sure what size I'm going to need - hopefully smaller than I am now!! Hahaha, though probably not...

Lori - Loved the pix and commentary. My husband would so love the wine and cheese excursion. He's used to traveling to France and having 3 hr dinners and 5 bottles of wine!! And, the costumes looked great!

Welcome!!! I'm a first timer too, so I don't have any pearls of wisdom for you, lol, but I'm happy you'll be joining us!!

TheBeadPirate is our Fish Extender Leader and she will, I'm sure, let you know what info you need to provide her! Though basically - you just need to pm her with this info:
-Screen name
-Cabin number
-Number of Adults
-Number of Children with ages in ()
-If you are roommates with someone else who is doing the exchange with their own gift (you then would be considered 2 different groups)
-If there are any allergies (ie nuts, cinnamon, etc in case someone wants to give food)

Cut off date is Dec 1.

We are shaping up into a nice sized group - I already need to do a little more shopping! LOL

I just got my Fish Extender (who knew?!) and am ready to go. Well ... sort of. What kind of fun things does one shop for for a FE treat? I am so new at this it is scary!
What I can tell you is I have 3 kids that are 7, 9 and 11. My husband and I don't expect anything, but suffice to say we are over 21.
I should also mention we are going as Julia's Make A Wish, so if you see us with our MAW shirts, please come up and say hi! We are easy to spot!

There are tons of things you can do for the FE gifts (there's even a thread with TONS of pictures on the main cruise board). I've seen things like magnets from your home state/country, handmade things, other random things from your home state/country, etc etc... Some people do just a gift per cabin, some do something for the adults and something for the kids, etc etc.

I'm so excited too!!!!
