December 22, 2013 - Disney Dream 4 Night Bahamian Cruise

Nemo is crazy over 16" already and more than 12 hours to go.
Three foot snow drifts with winds over 50 I can just about see across the road, I have never seen it snow so hard! local weather is saying 2-3" and hour for the next 6 -8 hours.
Summer can't come fast enough!!!

First off... Stay warm and safe! Secondly... "Nemo" just isn't a good name for a white snow storm! DE got nothing... Just the wind

Nothing but wind in VA, thankfully. An inch of snow paralyzes us here in the Tidewater. Stay safe and warm, my northeast friends.

Just got in from cleaning the driveway, we had about 36 - 40" of snow just crazy. You know it's bad when the town plows are getting stuck. Now we have too deal with the temps going down to -0- tonight. Any cruise is starting to look good right now.

Morning! Hope everyone up north is doing well. Weather predictions for our weekend is snow and I so hope they are wrong. Either that or I need it to hit by Fri morning cause we are suppose to be driving to ATL ths weekend. Just rather be stuck at home than not!

Yes!! I love to bring our 24 oz tervis cups with the lids for just this purpose. They also work well for keeping a beer cold and inconspicuous...

Hope your snow situation is better now, it missed us, they talked about it for days and we only got a dusting, Thank You God. I can't wait to get away from winter. We drove to Disney about 3 weeks ago and hit black ice in NC around 1 am and it was scary, we did a few 360's and boy was that not fun Luckily no hitting anything and we made it there with just a story to tell. I'm hoping when its time to cruise the weather will cooperate, we plan on going a few days early and stay in Disney...... This will be so much fun.... Hope everyone is doing well.

This morning booked our September 2014 cruise out of San Juan. So, I am definitely in a cruise state of mind today.

I am so excited that our cruise is finally getting closer...I mean, at least, we have arrived on the same year...

This morning booked our September 2014 cruise out of San Juan. So, I am definitely in a cruise state of mind today.

It's good to know people are still in the cruising mood even after all the news this week. I'm excited too, I like the looks of that San Juan cruise, that should be fun!

Today's Dream Must Do's (3 for today):

5. If you need coffee the first thing in the morning, order it at night before you go to bed, they will bring it in a carafe and it will still be warm when you get up. or just order it for first breakfast each morning in your room.

6. Bring extra one dollar bills to tip the room service attendants.

7. Bring a 3 plug or more extension cord. (The rooms only have 2 outlets)

Okay.... Almost Seasoned DCL Veterans here. This is our 3rd cruise and first Christmas voyage. Been on the Wonder in Jan 09, Fantasy in April 12, and now Dream 13.

Along for this adventure is my DW (Lisa... I'm not allowed to post her age.). My DSD, Amanda (17 at the time of cruise). We're also bringing my DFIL and DMIL, Jerry and Patricia. Connecting Cabins, 9066 and 9068.

We're up for FE.

We live in Huntsville, Alabama. Rocket City Rednecks... (Just think about that one.)

We'll also be spending some quality time at AKL afterwards.

We look forward to making new friends!
