December 22, 2013 - Disney Dream 4 Night Bahamian Cruise

Thats a good question! We are doing a B2B with the Dec 19th cruise before this one. Now I am curious as to how long you have to be off too.

We did B2B in February on the Wonder. We had to be out of our cabin by 8 AM and sat around the public areas of the ship until 10:30 when we were walked off the ship to customs and then back on at 11. We were not able to get back into our cabin until 2PM like everyone else. We sort of felt like it was a waste of a morning.

Hmmmmm this is interesting. Will they let us stay off the boat until we wanted to get back on? Reason I ask this is because since that was my assumption I was planning to carry my kids passports with us and meet my mom and sister and kids when they check in on the 22nd. Now this isn't seeming like a viable option.

Oh and if not, how do I check my kids in since they are in our cabin for the 2 leg of the trip??? Hmmmm...decisions, decisions.

I'm a little confused. Are your kids not sailing with you the first leg?

No my mom and sister are bringing them down and everyone will be on this cruise. On the 19th its just DH and I.

If the kids are in the same cabin as you, I'm not sure what you will need to do. You may need to get off with everyone and go up to the general boarding area to meet them to board. When we did it, we went to the general boarding area before they let everyone else into the terminal, to get our new key cards. My parents sailed the 2nd leg with us, and we did not get to see them until they boarded the ship. Maybe you can call DCL when it gets closer and inquire.

I think a few more Dream Must Do's are in order! Today's theme...EMBARKATION and ENTERTAINMENT:

37. Embarkation – Do your Palo/Spa reservations, then swim, then eat. It’s the slowest the pool will be all cruise (except while at port).
38. Embarkation – Don’t miss the sail-away celebration!
39. Entertainment – Call 888-325-2500, choose reservations, and find out what movies are showing during your cruise before you set sail. (can anyone say..."Saving Mr. Banks"?)
40. Entertainment – Check the info board by guest services for the character schedule or call the hotline.
41. Entertainment – See all the shows and don’t leave early. (for first timers anyway)
