Just be aware that DL experiences capacity gate closures two days on average during that week -- usually on the day the Rose Parade teams visit (the 27th?) and at least one other day -- so be careful about going back to the hotel during the afternoon if you really need to get back into DL later on, e.g. for a TS reservation. Gate closures rarely last more than a few hours, usually until the parade or fireworks end and lots of guests exit so that more guests can enter the park. Will you have MP? This is our first ever trip to DL, and California. We hail from the Deep South.
I am so happy to find this thread, because on the other board, I keep getting told over and over that I am nuts for going during that week. It has me really nervous.I know the crowds will be insane, that is why we scheduled 4 park days.
I need to find t-shirt blanks and then I’m totally getting crafty. I have a new Cricut I’m excited to use to make shirts.
I make custom ears and cinch sacks. I generally have a different themed outfit for each day. Have all six days of my trip planned out. Everything is made and ready to go and I still have 25 days to make alterations if need be.
Your friends need to be on your room reservation and each have a key card to show for early entry.
