Hello, we will be there the first Thursday, Friday and Saturday of December. Will holiday stuff be happening? Anything we should see or know about?
It's our first trip. Staying at hard rock after a 5 night trip to Disney. Ty!

We were there last year on those days and I believe the holiday stuff officially started on the Friday.

The holiday events at Uni are NOT a separate ticket, they are in the parks as part of your regular day. We really enjoyed the Breakfast with Grinch (need reservation, held at Circus McGirkus) and the Grinch stage show. The holiday parade is pretty cool if you grew up watching the Macy's day parade - nostalgic, not a major wow factor. We loved the decorations throughout the parks.

but I'm going the exact same time, OP! Thanks for asking the question. I was hoping there would be something special for Harry Potter but doesnt look like that's happening...

From what I understand, JK is VERY particular about the potter lands.

Yes she is

Everything in potter land has to be approved by her

She controls what goes in those sections of the parks

No soda sold in Pottsville, no bleach to be used in the two sections, etc

We'll be arriving Sunday the 4th for 8 nights. Looking forward to Christmas stuff.

yaddakal...The decorations should all be up. Parade should be starting around that time too and your crowds should be quite tolerable!
