How has availability for SDMT been for Christmas week so far? Just curious as we book our FP+ tonight.

Just did our FPs for 12/18-12/26. Got everything we wanted except there's no Christmas parade available! I see it listed but it says "closed for refurbishment".

When I was booking our FP's the Wishes option said "closed for refurbishment" on the original selection page BUT, after I did my initial selections and I went in to change some experiences/times, Wishes was an option. Try searching for it that way.

I was looking for Wishes but you may have luck finding Parade FPs.

We do our FP selections tonight and I am so nervous! I know Christmas week is very busy, so my question is, is park hopping really an option? Like if I have dinner reservations in Epcot, and MK has EMH in the AM, are we ok to do FP in MK and spend the day there and then go to Epcot for dinner? Or is there a chance we'd be turned away bc it's at capacity?

I'm not aware of Epcot ever having reached level 4 capacity, which is the only level at which no one is allowed to enter. Since you're staying on property, you would be able to enter even if they reach level 3.

What is the best day to go to Magic Kingdom:
Friday Dec 4: Crowd level 5
Sunday Dec 6: Crowd level 7
Tuesday Dec 8: Crowd level 5


I am considering Dec 6 because the crowd calendar text says MK will be less crowded because it is a Sunday. But, with a crowd of 7, it seems like it will still be more crowded than a Friday or Tuesday. Thoughts?

Those are all most recommended MK days on easyWDW, probably because MVMCP on all of those days. We'll be there on 12/8 I say go on Tuesday if you can!

I was able to book fastpasses for Holiday Wishes with no problem. The regular Wishes fastpass choice was closed since it isn't being offered.

I had no problem finding SDMT this morning for 12/24 and 12/25.

I don't think they've had a level 4 closure at MK in many years. We were there last year 12/19-12/27 and didn't encounter any closures anywhere. We went to MK on 12/25 around 10:30 AM and walked right in no problem. There wasn't even a line at the bag check.

I agree that I haven't heard of EP reaching a level 4 closure. We were there once on NYE and asked some CM's there about closures. They told us that EP had never had a level 4 closure before. I know that you can't believe everything a CM says but they seemed pretty credible.

We are trying to hit rope drop most days but have a couple of late arrivals and park hopping days planned. I know it's always a possibility for a level 4 closure but we've never experienced problems yet during the Holidays. Hopefully that will prove to be our experience this year as well!

Okay.... question....... with the new big Star Wars release and subsequent special party at HS on Dec 17..... will HS still be open until 8? will there still be a 830 Fantasmic? The private event just states that it's after hours and runs until 2 am

My fastpass booking date is 11 pm central Tonight! I will be staying up to book. I am normally in bed by 10. Lol
