I am hoping for a trip on Dec. 13-20. We went the same week last month and it was very nice. We stayed at Coronado Springs for the first time. I have a bounce back offer for the week at the Contemporary, but it stills seems a little pricey. I am hoping for Free Dining and maybe trying French Quarter. We have stayed at POR, but would like to try FQ. It will be a long year. I LOVE the planning part so bring on the binders and ideas! My family laughs a bit at me but we have a wonderful time together and they love how the trips play out! This past year we decorated the rooms for Christmas and had a "surprise a day" when everyone returned from the parks. It was so much fun! Following! Our family of four will be going 11/28 or 11/29 - 12/6 to celebrate my 30th birthday! I share a birthday with Walt Disney so I've always wanted to spend a birthday at WDW. I'm hoping for free dining!

We haven't decided if we will be flying down on 11/28 or 11/29. It looks like flights may be cheaper on Friday than Saturday... So much cheaper that we would actually save $35 or so by adding another day to our trip. Crazy!

Hi all!! We are a part of the December crew! We are going November 29th - December 6th. I have NEVER been at Christmas and am so excited I cannot wait!! I called Disney today to see if I had any PIN Codes and sadly I do not. However, something really weird to me, was the CM asked me what dates I was looking at. I told her the month of December and she came back and said they will be having a Room discount December 11th to 21st. It will be 35% off Deluxe, 30% off Moderate, and 25% off Value. I know Disney usually releases discounts during that time frame, but was shocked that the CM went ahead and told me when, from my experience, they won't tell you anything that hasn't been officially released.

Has anyone else heard this from Disney?? It won't help us with our plans, but I just thought it was odd.

so exited to be going back! we will be checking in Dec 22-27 and will be going back to the moderates-POFQ...trip is booked, now the planning has begun, well atleast the "real" planning. still doing 2 rooms, let the countdown begin.

I went for a day to MK last year at the end of June. It was not nearly as hot as I was expecting.

I'm interested! Went December 2012 and loved it. Want to do it again but, only if this upcoming spring trip goes smoothly. We'll have to see how well i manage with the magic bands and fp+.

Just put down a deposit for Dec. 5 - 9 at the GFV. (Who am I? I don't get to stay at the Grand Floridian! This is nuts!) Not counting on a discount even if one comes out (good luck to all) but want to join the waiting fun! (Yes, I said waiting fun.)

Took our first trip to DW 12/12/13-12/16/13 at the Cabins with free dining. I'll be booking at Little Mermaid room soon for 4, 5, or 6 nights (can't decide!) for the first week of December...we are big Ariel fans and it's the only thing in our budget if discounts don't come out (I know these rooms are never discounted) but I am hoping that FD will come out and we can switch to Royal rooms at POR or stay in the Cabins again. I want to try more resorts but the Cabins were really awesome!

I'm in for Dec 7th - 12th. I have been down for Christmas twice before and it is AMAZING!!! However since I am renting a DVC villa I don't know if I am eligible for any discounts. Lots of time to figure that one out though.
