Why are there usually Sun DHS EMH in Dec, but Sun MK EMH in Jan? We recently switched to Jan 2015, and I would prefer to do MK on Sunday, but also try to avoid EMH. For those who do Jan often, is this a consistent thing or does Disney just switch it up?

Most times of year, MK offers PM EMH on Sunday.

There are MVMCP dates on many of the Dec. Sundays which means that there can be no
PM EMH in MK on those Sundays.

In January, after the Christmas season, PM EMH at MK returns to its "regular" schedule of Sunday nights.

The hours will change a lot between now and then. Not enough to affect your ADRs, but they will change (be expanded, EMHs will change, etc.)

Last year I noticed that a lot of parks closed by ~11pm Christmas Eve. This was a bit strange, but we normally go to bed early Christmas Eve so we could get to the parks early Christmas Day (and we usually travel Xmas Eve so we're tired anyway.)

From experience - EMHs do change. In fact, last year they added park hours to EPCOT the week of. They announced that EPCOT would be opening an hour early for EMH to all resort guests.

Also - as far as MK goes - the Friday after Christmas will be a late-night EMH and be open until at least 2am. It happens every year - bank on it!

But you COULD use last year's hours for a rough estimate... Dec. 2013.

I still don't think that is the correct December 2014 Hours - each week is exactly the same. I think it's just a template getting ready to update
