December 2013.

Ok, I need some help here. I must be missing something because I still can't access fastpass + yet. It only brings up today's date and those following. It doesn't give me an option to change the date to December. I get the popup window that says "you can only book during the correct dates" message (something like that). Anyone have any tips for me?

When is your check in? Are you within 60 days?

I am going dec 7 - 13 and I can't see anything but MVMCP cards on the magic bands page. Is something wrong? Should I have received an email yet about magic bands or FP+?

I'm also staying at AKL and I think that resort is participating. Just don't want to miss out or not do something I should be doing.

no, its not ready for december people.

I am sorry for the people who are checking in the firt week in Dec as the people who are checking in on Nov 30th for that week are getting FP for Dec. I hope the pickings for the rest of the people are not slim pickings. It just doesnt seem fair

Good Morning All
I just found this thread even through I am on here multiply times a day. I am also one of those that am arriving 11/30. I have to say I've only picked FP+ for the first 2 days even though I can for the week. But here's a link to an article from WDW news from yesterday that might be helpful.

I also use touring plans. I made a plan for AK with the FP+ I picked out and was advised on their site that those are not the best times to have. Then it created a more walking friendly plan for me. I haven't decided which way I'll go yet.

Also here's a link to the FP for BOG FP+ dicussion:

It's my understanding it's 30 days out. If anyone figures it out, please let me know.

Have a great day!

Is there anybody out there staying offsite, and a little upset about this??

We have APs and would think that we would get a little more w all the $$$$$ I spent on them.

I don't even care about having a magicband. I just want to be able to schedule FP+!!!!!

Hi all,

We are at the Poly 12/10-12/15. It's just a mommy and me trip with DS 11. First time for Christmas since the 80s. Can't wait to be there!

I'm staying "offsite" at the Swan so we aren't eligible and frankly, I'm OK with it. It's less stressing out for me for a trip that I promised DH would be relatively "reservation" free other than an ADR or two.

Now, if I had an AP, I would NOT be happy. Like you said, you spend WAY too much money and I think AP holders should have been the first to get the MBs and FP+ whether you are staying onsite or not. What about all those local people who live close by and pop in a day here and there? It would be nice for them to say, hey, let's go to WDW next weekend or tomorrow and be able to jump online and see what, if any options are available.

Honestly, I would not be surprised if WDW decided that MBs and FP+ were only offered to those guests staying onsite. Sort of a perk I guess, and a big perk for some people, because honestly, the "perks" of being onsite have really gone by the wayside in my opinion since EMHs have been reduced and the prices have skyrocketed. Although for us, a big perk of being onsite is the transportation options, but that's because we just don't like to rent a car. For others, I know that doesn't mean diddly.

Should be interesting when we are there for sure. I'm just glad this is NOT our first and once in a lifetime trip or I might be freaking out a little.

If you have an AP and really want MB's, you could always book a night at Pop or another resort that offers the bands.

I don't know that the FP+s is really going to be a benefit for us anyway. My sister and her family will be joining us. They are just Florida residents, not AP holders or anything special.

I have her linked as my family & friends on MDE site, but when I try to choose FPs there's a note by all of them, that they're not eligible for FPs. So what goods that gonna do any of us?

Like I said in my post I don't care about having an MB. I wouldn't want to wear it anyway. I just would like to schedule the FP +. We were there over Labor Day and the standby lines were a lot longer than usual. I'm worried how the regular FP machines will be working by then.

As for staying at a value for one night, not an option. We own a vacation home so my money all goes to that. :) Which we are so happy we have!!!!

No kidding, that's awful!! How do you vacation w your family then???

I have a funny feeling this whole my magic + crap is gonna make me not renew my APs next year. That would be so sad!!! :(

FP+ is attached to the tickets or your AP NOT a hotel reservation. You can stay where ever you like.

Currently only Disney hotel guests are getting Magic Bands and no one seems to know when non-Disney guests will be able to purchase one (which is rumored) if they just want to have one...but you do not need them to use FP+.

All tickets will have the RFID that is necessary to use FF+. If you have older tickets you wish to use, you can get them updated to the new RFDI tickets.

AP holders will also be able to update to RFDI enabled passes.

Once they get their tickets, you can add the ticket numbers to your MDE and it will allow you to set up their FPs.

The FP+ being attached to my AP is new to me. I've heard nothing has happened for AP holders yet just resort guests. if it's true that's great!

.

But you still need to have a reservation for a night at a test resort to be able to make your FP selections and get mb's, unless something has recently changed? :confused3

Should not be on the web so much. Happened to notice that I had enough southwest points for 3 one way trips, and an 2APs (mine and DD14) burning a hole in my pocket. Booked Dec 5 to Dec 8 at ASMu for a surprise trip! Only had to purchase one one way airfare at $200. Not bad. Went online and originally found no availability for any value, called while surfing again, and while the CM tried to sell me on offsite or CS, ASMu preferred popped up at a non discounted rate and I grabbed it!!
It is at 114 and 134 per night, which is discounted!pixiedust:
Can you tell I'm excited?
Now I've looked and noticed that it is the beginning of Pop Warner and the taping of the holiday parade, and a MVMCP. I guess it will be crowded!
Thanks for reading my post, and jump in if you have any suggestions! :cool1::cool1::cool1:
