My family and I will also be going to Disney World in December. It will be my second time going but everyone else's first. We are all so excited! Hoping to get the Wishes! Dessert Party. We will be there December 11th to the 16th...Couldn"t get Free Dining bc we arrive a day early but we did get the 30% room discount so i cant complain. We are staying at Boardwalk ONLY 94 DAYS!!!!!

Couldn't you get the FD for the rest of your trip?? Even if you miss the first day? I don't know much about the DDP we usually don't get it.

could got free dining but had to do a split stay-- one night then the rest of the time. Whatever was the better discount.

I did the math for a split stay we arrive on the 8th thru the 15 so it saved me 38. to take free dining on a split stay.

or saved 151. per room with the discount-- we took the discount and dont have to worry about switiching up rooms mid stay

My dates are Dec 7 - 13. We've gone the same week for the past two years and love this time of year! I just requested to join the Facebook group.

subbing... we usually go the first week of Dec. but for the first time we have to go later in the month....the 18-24th, bracing for high crowds and trying to plan around the crowds, we have been to Disney 4 times with the kids so we don't need to do "everything" so looking for tips for managing the high Christmas crowds...

Just found this thread! This will be our 2nd time here (went last yr end of Nov first part of Dec for 5 days and stayed off site)

This Yr! staying Onsite at POP- we are doing alot of Character Dining and We are there for 11 nights - 12 days. We will be there Dec 4-15! can't wait!

Get park hopper. That way if one park is busy you can move to another. Also take time and visit the resorts to see all of the Christmas decorations.

DH and I are booked for Dec 12-18 at POP! This is our first time to see all of the Christmas magic! We're so excited!

We will be in WDW December 9th - & leave flying back to Melbourne on the 20th
Bit excited also & now have completed ADR's at California Grill & Be our Guest

Hubby and I are staying at the WL Dec. 9th - 14th.
We always go right after Thanksgiving. This is our first Dec. trip!! Looking forward to it!!

We booked a little over 2 weeks ago for our trip in December!!! We will be at the pop December 14-21st!!!!!! WE went last November and I can not wait to be back to our magical place. I am thinking about adding another day and doing SeaWorld the first day sense we are Military we get in free. Would you all add another day at the pop to see SeaWorld?
