All the bad press on Disney has really been bumming me out for our trip. It just seems like a lot of money hungry & no customer service in return. Between the new cup system, the magic+, the crazy prices for party tickets. Then the family we were going with isn't going to go. I'm just a bummed. I got to find some positive stuff to get me back excited for our trip.

Nothing wrong with new cup system. People have been stealing product for many years mostly based on "oh they can afford it" or " I pay too much for other things" guise. And that's just wrong! The "magic+" is not finalized and it is only speculation on how it all works out. Yes part tix are expensive...I'll give you that one. (we r going to MVMCP in Dec) Haven't been in years so it's a no brainer for us because I remember how fun it was !!
And most of all you are on VACATION in Walt Disney World ....Have Fun

We don't spend much time at the resort so other than grabbing a drink in the evenings or in the mornings it's not going to effect me. I think I'm just going to stay away from the rumors thread and stay on the exciting threads like this one and trip reports.

Good idea!! I peeked at your pre-trip report and saw that you're going to be at Pop on your upcoming trip. The Pop Century thread in the Resort section of Disboards is a really positive, upbeat thread you might want to follow as well if you're trying to stay away from the negative chatter.

We are going to the same party. We purchased our tickets the day they went on sale and got them pretty quickly. We were able to get a 4:20 pm dinner ADR at BOG beforehand. We just booked a CP dinner package for 12/11 the day they went on sale so now we are all set.
