December 2013: We just booked!

I had no trouble getting BOG online yesterday. It was 7:30 a.m. before I was able to get on and book as well:). There were plenty of times to choose from and I got a 5:15 on one of our MK days:)

FABULOUS! Thanks for your input. This gives me hope! You can bet I'll be online in the morning... 5:00 a.m. my time. (The things you do for Disney) :surfweb:

Hi!

We are heading to Disney in December! So excited! Staying at POFQ (our first moderate!)

I also just sent a request to the FB Group (hope it's okay)

Does the online offer the ability to book the 180+10 Now, or is it just the 180 day mark? Last time I tried it...(in 2012), it wouldn't let me.

It should allow you to book the 180+10 if you log in to your account on the My Disney Experience site and have your resort reservation linked to your account. Make sure you are in the MDE site when you try it. You should see a welcome page with your days left in a box on the left, and the column on your right will have an option to link your reservation numbers and make dining reservations. If it isn't linked to your resort reservation you will only get the 180 day option.

I got BOG no issue....mind you I can't get 50's or Sci Fi within 30 minutes of when I want them...lol I'll keep trying. Tusker House is the other one I can't get a pre park ADR on either day I was looking At.

I tried at my 180 day mark and it didn't allow me to. I had to end up calling to make my reservations.

Congrats on your trip and welcome to the group! The more the merrier :goodvibes

I can call on Sunday for our ADR's. I am looking for Crysal Palace on Christmas morning. I am hoping to get the earliest possible. The only other thing I have to wait for is Candlelight Processional.

My DBFF and I got a flight for the 19th instead of the 20th as the prices were about $200 more for a one way flight on the 20th. So we are going to stay at a value on the 19th and then transfer over to FW when my parents get there on the 20th with the camper.

I believe I already introduced myself here a while ago. Anyway, we are officially booked for Dec 15-27 at ASMo hoping for FD. Since our oldest is already 10, we won't be upgrading to the table service plan like we used to do if we were lucky enough to get FD.

I've already booked a few ADRs with one of them being BOG for Christmas Eve. I was quite shocked to have a choice of dates and times including numerous times for Christmas Day!

We've been to Disney numerous times and have eaten at a lot of the restaurants so we have our favorites already. Since we'll have to pay OOP we only booked a few TS meals and will use mainly CS meals the rest of the time!

We are going December 22nd-December 28th!!Staying at a deluxe resort for the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It's a surprise trip for my son too!!!!!!!Beyond excited to be in Disney on Christmas Day!

We stayed there our last trip and really liked it. We will be at Disney for part of the same time as you from 12/7-12/15 but splurging and doing a split stay at 2 deluxe.

We are going December 22nd-December 28th!!Staying at All Star Movies for the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Beyond excited to be in Disney on Christmas Day!

I have stayed at All Star Movies before; it's a fun resort with a nice food court and pool. My DH and I stayed in the Toy Story section and loved that area. I'm sure you'll have a great time at the resort and in Disney on Christmas!:goodvibes

Hi Everyone! Long time no write but we are still in for Dec! Just got our BOG for my mom, DSis and 2 DDs and then Ohana for everyone. Wish me luck! Hope everyone else is getting their dining so far. Happy planning!

Hi all!! Just booked for Dec 3 - 12 and cannot wait to see the Mouse! Have been getting my Dis fix over on the cruise boards but first time here - excited to be a part :). Just sent request to join the FB group (I'm the one with a dolphin) and would appreciate being added. Tia!

Hi! I just booked a trip to WDW during Christmastime and I am SO excited! I've been to Disneyland at Christmastime and been to WDW numerous other times - but I've never been to WDW during Christmas...so this is a dream trip for me. I'll be there December 1-8 (technically I arrive on the 30th but I get in so late, I don't really count it) - it seems so far off! I'm getting pumped up tonight by reading through people's trip reports, drinking some candy cane green tea, and listening to Disneyland's Christmas Fantasy Parade soundtrack. Any tips or holiday must sees, anyone?

We are booked at Animal Kingdom Lodge Dec 7 - 14! It will be the first trip for DD (4) and DS (20 months). We are beyond excited!

MVMCP, CP, Osbourne Lights, and take time to resort hop at the MK resorts and also at the BC, YC, and BW. I arrive on your next to last day. Where are you staying?

We were all booked for Nov 10-17 but my husband may have to work, so now we're going the week after Thanksgiving (checking in November 30, but no parks until December)

We're staying at CBR (first time in a moderate - upgraded after getting a FD pin). I'm really excited about a lot of things, like seeing Disney at Xmas, the Osborne Lights, possibly the Candlelight Processional ... plus, we're setting up our Xmas tree the weekend before Thanksgiving this year (usually the Saturday after) and putting a gift under the tree for when we get home - that's how our daughter will find out that we're leaving that next morning! (She's 8, she's been told for 3 years that we aren't going back until she's 10. Changed our minds :lmao: Surprise!)

Only downside so far is that I lost our rez for CRT. I was SO excited about seeing her find out we were eating in the castle :( If anyone cancels their rez for Dec 1, 2 or 5, please message me! I'll happily take whatever I can get :)

Thanks for the tips - I didn't even think about checking out the resort decorations! I'm staying off-site in a Timeshare.

My family is booked for 12/4 12/9 at AllStar Movies. Daughter will be 4 & this will be BOTH of our first trip to WDW!!!!

This is just my second post but now that its less then 6 months, I am having trouble containing my excitement.!
