December 2013: We just booked!

Has anyone had any luck reserving a holiday sleigh ride in December this year? My husband tried and I tried and I think I got the same cast member he did. She said they don't know anything yet and to try back in a few days. I was really hoping to do it right after Hoop Dee Doo, so I have a very specific time I want.

I did get all the ADRs I wanted, though.

CRT for breakfast with just me and my princess and sil who lives in Orlando ( hubby and two boys can fend for themselves . Since my princess will be just under three, she will be freeeeee!

I thought the sleigh rides had a shorter booking window. Like 90 or 60 days or something? I could be wrong.

For those of you that scored a BOG ressie what day did you get it? I'm going to try tomorrow morning so hopefully I can get it!!

I got a BOG reservation for Monday, Dec 2nd at 5:50pm. I couldn't get my preferred time of 6:30pm, but this is close enough. The other time that was offered to me for that date was 7:30pm. It was a reservation for two, which might make a difference in availability, since I saw that some people couldn't get a reservation for BOG that week.

I got BOG for Thursday, December 5 at 6:10 PM for 3 people. I was really happy with that time!

All my ADRs were for 2 people. I got BOG on 12/1 at 6:10. I got all the places and times I wanted.

Just noticed you're in the Chicago burbs. Same here. We are in Bartlett,but moving to Aurora later this month.

What crowd calander are you all using? Also I'm having trouble finding the park hours, or mainly extra magic hours for the week of Christmas. Can someone help me? I know I have see them somewhere!!

Wow! Thats pretty amazing because that restaurant is huge! Are they still keeping the Rose room closed during dinner? When we went last year they opened the Main and Library only (sorry if I don't have the exact names of the rooms ). Well, maybe it will just be lunch this year which will be ok because we enjoyed lunch. Loved the braised pork .....Hmmmm now to see what I should add since now I have an opening...haven't been to CP yet so might try that

I was up bright and early yesterday to make my ADR's and the on line system wouldn't work at all for me. So I ended up calling at 7am. Didn't have to wait too long on hold. I really wanted BOG for 12/4 but the only date with any openings was on 12/7 so that's when we are going. That ressie was for 7 people though so that might have been the issue.

I got everything I wanted:

Ohana dinner - first time for us
Raglan Road
Teppen Edo - just my son and his wife
Crystal Palace - before park open
Grand Floridian Cafe
Rose and Crown - first time for us
Biergarten
Mama Melrosa - first time for us
Garden Grill - first time, I'm a big Chip and Dale fan
Be Our Guest - first time

Of course after I hung up I realized I forgot to put the celebrations and allergies on the lists so I ended up calling back again.

We also decided to try a split stay this time so we are doing AKV Kidani village from 11/30 to 12/2 and BLT from 12/2 to 12/8. We have two rooms at BLT so I am hoping they end up pretty close. I've linked the ressies and noted I wanted them close together but we shall see.

We are thinking of doing the Backstage Safari Tour also, has anyone done this one?

If you have a set day that you want to do it, then call on your 180 day (the 12th I think). If you give them your confirmation #, then you can do BBB 180+10 like the ADRs. Better safe than sorry with something this important

We are staying at POFQ - King Bed from December 4th until the 16th. So far we have tickets for DVMCP on the 10th. In 2 days we can purchase tickets for La Nouba and the Hoop de Doo Review. We are very excited! Any other couples from NH?

Booked my ADRs yesterday! The website was running extra slow for me, so I ended up calling. Unfortunately, I was on hold for about fifteen minutes, which was long enough for me to book 2 restaurants with the uber-slow site

I ended up getting everything I wanted with the exception of 'Ohana. Was hoping to get a dinner ressie for the night of the 1st, but all the had available was an 8:30pm, and with a 7 month old I knew that would be way too late.

I'll keep checking back every once in awhile to see if someone cancelled, but if not I don't mind. I have a lot of other great restaurants and a ton of new places.

December cannot get here soon enough!
