**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

Wow you are the king of second guessing. I know this has already been settled, but I wanted to comment anyway. You are staying at a brand new resort, with an amazing pool and food court. Abby loves Ariel and you have a LM room. It is your first time at Disney so you will be spending your time in the parks anyway. Like a pp said, save the deluxe for your next trip. Stop looking at other resorts!!!!

But then he wouldn't be a true Dis'er if he didn't rethink his hotel (and ADRs) over and over and over and over again! DUH!! \

But I agree, he should stick with AoA because of LM etc. He can go all commando now, and next visit (or two or three or ten) enjoy the hotel amenities!

We are driving down to Disney for Christmas this year. Super excited!! Staying at Marriott Cyprus Harbour. Me, 21 year-old-daughter, three-year-old little boy and husband who's never been. We are going to be there December 23rd through the 30th.

LOL. Believe me I know!!! I have been through a few different resorts! I seem to fall in love with a different one every few weeks. Last night I told DH for $500 more we could stay in a LK suite at AoA. He said no. We are doing 2 rooms at POP, no more changes. Oh well, I still have ADRs to tweak for 4 more months.

That's how I am. Every new opportunity seems so exciting.

Someone checked availability, and AKL *does* have availability. I'm flipping it over to Abby, and see what she says. I'd already be over this, but AKL was my first choice, before I saw the price. Now that it's realistic is really intriguing to me.

I hear you!! I am getting antsy at this point. I even find myself humming Christmas music, and it's only August!! How pathetic am I ?

Been listening to Disney music at my desk today to make me happy. Is there not a better song on this earth than "When you wish upon a star"?? Sigh. I also got teared up listening to "Be Our Guest". The elusive ADR!

At least we have Halloween to look forward to. And as I am a Floridian, I always look forward to the end of hurricane season and cooler weather come, well, NOVEMBER! haha

I look at my ADR's and think "Can I do better?"

I routinely look at the pics from our last trip.

I look at the itinerary, and wonder how much more resort hopping I can do.

I keep putting my name in and going trough the MVMCP "storybook" at the Disney site (love hearing Rusty Cutlass sing).

I'm almost aching to see the Halloween banner ads where Mickey is a vampire, ONLY for the reason that, after Halloween, I love when that 1st snow flake hits his nose and he transforms into Santa.

If I were you I would be heading to AKL in a heart beat we love it there is so much to see and do there that you don't even need to go to the parks rotfl2 Have fun deciding

We love BWV but decided to do a split stay with AKV this trip. We are super psyched!

We have not really done much second guessing on resorts. The first time out we thought we wanted BLT because we wanted monorail access. There was no availability so someone recommended BWV. We had no idea there were resorts within *walking* distance of the parks. We've been hooked since. We'd like to try other resorts but BWV is our best bang-for-the-buck in terms of location, space and price. Although now that we're doing a split stay I predict more of those in our future.

But I think Abby was the one who was very into LM!! Hmm, yeah let her decide. That way if you hate the place, you can blame her! I remember you toying with CSR vs AoA, and you said you wouldn't be spending time in the resort. If that still remains, I say stick with AoA.
