**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

I know, waiting is the worst part. I feed my addiction by tweaking our dining times if I can, but not worrying too much about it if I can't. This trip is going to be a Christmas surprise...anyone have any suggestions for putting this gift under the tree?

These are the current promotion dates for Disney Visa card holders. The general public is supposed to receive this same offer on Thursday. Unfortunately, I think you would have to change your dates because your check-in date must fall during one of these windows. Hope this makes sense. I'm pretty new to this, but from all I've read this seems correct.

Okay, thank you! We don't have cc's so I knew the initial offer wouldn't work for us. AND I was afraid they wouldn't release anything during PW week. Oh well, I'm just thankful we got SOMEthing off our trip, and maybe it will keep the crowds low. I'm happy for all of you who get to take advantage of the offers.

What are the date restrictions on the FD? Do you think they'll open it up to the public soon? I think we'd be better off with FD since DD is a "Disney adult." We are dining deluxe, so we'd still have to pay for the upgrade. Right now we have 30% off the Poly for 12/4-12/11.

The FD dates appear to fall only during the last 2 days of your trip.

I honestly think you save more with your 30% off Poly code. Most often the room discounts end up being a better deal than FD.

Hey everyone,

I hope its okay if I hop in (on?) your thread . I just finished booking our Christmas trip to Orlando and am so darned excited . We arrive December 23rd and fly home on December 30th. Coming from the Great White North, we are super pumped about spending the holidays in the Florida sunshine!!!

Now, to be fair, this is not a Disney trip (not yet, anyway ). We are staying on property at SeaWorld (at the Residence Inn in a one bedroom suite) so will be doing SeaWorld and Aquatica. I am guessing Discovery Cove will also be added in before we're done as hubby has an Aquatica AP so we can get a fantastic rate. We were sooooo hoping to get in on a MVMCP but the last date offered in the 21st . That has left us truly bummed.

Even though we have no Disney days planned, I was hoping it would be okay for me to plan along with the rest of you and get excited about the holiday season (its my favourite time of year!!). DH and DS share my passion for family fun, and both asked "Santa" for a family vacation in lieu of a traditional Christmas at home.

We have a week in Orlando also planned for August 26th to September 2. And we spend New Years week 2012 in Orlando as well (that was our Christmas 2011 family gift). So I am getting ready for all those folks who will feel the to lament ... "You're going back, AGAIN?!?!?!?"

Super excited, I have booked my ADRs now for our trip! CP at Coral Reef with Gary Sinise, Kona Cafe, 1900 Park Fare, CRT and 'Ohana breakfast!!!! Besides CRT these are all new restaurants for us to try, last time we were there was in 2005!

We are doing CP with Gary Sinise also. Booked Biergarten for ours. What day and time is your CP?

Hey, another question. I'm thinking about subscribing to one of the Touring Plans for the wait time app. Do you get to just download it to one phone with a subscription or could I download the app to both mine and DH's or better yet, my DGF's? Darn I have to go back and research that again ...

I have the lines app on both mine and my BF phone, with only one subscription. Sometimes I just have to relog in. If you have the unofficial guide, you can subscribe to touring plans at a discount. For just a few bucks, it's worth it. I don't think their touring plan optimizer works well, but the crowd calendar and the app is wonderful. The app also has a menu feature, where you can look at the menus for all the resturants and even search for a specific food your hungry for.

Congrats on everyone that got free dining! I've upgraded my QS to the regular plan. We were going to pay oop for a few TS meals but after adding them up (and the candlelight processional) it was cheaper to just upgrade.

I still need to get my MVMCP tickets...not sure what I'm waiting for!
