Yes, Thank you BDL for sharing that video!!!! LOVE IT!!!!

Does anyone know when (generally) the December schedule will be out???

Add me to the list! DH and I will be arriving 12/8, and are booked at POFQ. If free dining gets offered (I would expect starting 12/10) we may change our arrival date.

I can't wait to do Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. We have done it twice before, but this will be our first time without the kids.

WDW 12-12-12. Nothing better than that!!!!

I'm wondering which night would be best for us to do MVMCP. while the schedule hasn't been released, I'm going by TP estimated schedule (which compared to the past few years, seems pretty consistent)

We have the following options:

Fri Dec 14
Sun Dec 16
Tue Dec 18

Weekdays are usually slower than weekends, but Dec 18 is the last party so it's going to be pretty busy. I think that narrows it down to Friday or Sunday. Earlier in the season I'd say Sunday (since locals should be going to work the next day) but since this Sunday is second to last of the season, maybe it's going to be really busy?

Or maybe they are all going to be crazy busy :rotfl:

Which would you choose? (our first day in the park is Fri Dec 14, last day Dec 19)

I need to change my hotel! I got a 30% off PIN!!!!! :) :) :) Wasn't valid at Art of Animation and I figured the savings were worth the jump to Pop Century. $880 at AOA (with 10% AAA) vs. $685 at PoP with 30% PIN.

Cast Member confirmed the pins going out now are the "first" of the December pins and the others won't be out for a bit more. If we do get another pin we are more than welcome to try it at AOA she said. Either way, I'd rather save the money.....I'm kinda thrifty/cheap! :)

So our dates are the same Dec 2-10, but now at POP!

I personally would choose the 18th. During the week might be a little slower. Plus this weekend is when most schools start their winter breaks. So this is the time of year the parks will start to see an increase in crowds.

I changed it. What a great deal!! Can't blame you for wanting to save $200. Put that towards the food budget!

Hi can I join the list? :goodvibes

We are me, DH and DD who arrive on 13th December staying at OKW.
This will be DD's first trip to any Disney park, and she will also have her 4th birthday on Christmas eve (hoping to get an ADR for CRT!!)

This will be our first time at OKW and first trip anywhere over Christmas!!

We are planning to do MVMCP - probably on Sunday 16th if its on that night :thumbsup2

We plan to be at MK early on Christmas day and hope to get an ADR for CP for lunch. Not so bothered about doing too many rides (if any!) that day, it has always been my dream to be at MK on Christmas day :thumbsup2

Claire :)

Of course you can be added! Hope you get your ADRs!! Should be a great trip and 4th b'day for you DD!

If the 18th is the final party, then it's a slam dunk it will sell out.

Fridays are always bad.

Go Sunday and hope for the best. But even that one will probably sell out. That late in the season it's hard to avoid a sell out.

I think I would choose Friday. Come Sat and Sunday, the next batch of Disney visitors (weekly) will be checking in. There will be more crowds that week, vs the week before. That would be my logic, but I might be completely off! :rotfl:

Good to know. This will be our first Holiday trip to WDW. We've never been during this time, so I'll keep that in mind.

Given that it is the last Friday of the party schedule, and that locals have the following day off (Saturday) I think Friday will not only sell out, but probably sell out in advance of the event. At least with Sunday, locals will have to be at work the next day and will be less likely to attend.

Ultimately they could ALL sell out. That's a risk this late in the season. I've been to 7 parties spread out over 3 different seasons and that has traditionally been the case.

True. My guess is they will all sell out or roughly be about equally busy. I guess I would just go with the date the best works with your schedule. You are going to have a blast either way! :thumbsup2

When do tickets generally go on sale for MVMCP?

Oh and Tofu, can you add Thumper_Man's Wife next to my name? Or below my name? She's a member on here to, so naturally we're going the same dates.

5/1

See, I already came up with a question.

Is it worth it to book the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package? Would this be something we would want to do when our 180 day window opens up?

Thanks.

I'm sure as the time gets closer, I'll come up with more questions.

Don't feel like you have to be in a hurry. I don't think that final party sold out until November last year.

As much as I'd like to buy on 5/1, it's the ONE piece of the trip that's officially non-refundable. So I'll wait. I'm still on the fence of Nov vs. Dec. I want to make sure we can see the Fantasyland stuff open, and I'd like to eat at Be Our Guest. I'm thinking I just might move the entire trip if I have trouble getting ADR's.
