Ok, I'm getting confused ... not hard really

For those of you who have done the xmas party before, I understand there are 2 parades and I would like to do the second one as I hear its less crowded. Is there any difference between the two and does it still snow on Main St during the second one?

Also, will there be fireworks (I know non-party nights they are 10pm) and if so what time?

That's not necessarily true. If you fly JetBlue or some other airline that provides a TV/GPS in the back of the seat in front of you, you can wait til you cross the Florida state line, you can have your own little toast with some OJ, that you get from the attendant.

I've never done it. But it's just a thought.

I love it! DH will really think I am nuts!! :lmao:

Tofu - can you update me? Im one of the November arrivals. Moving from AoA to AKV/CSR split stay!

The parades are (historically) at 8:15 and 10:30. Holiday Wishes is at 9:30. There are no differences between the two parades. :santa:

Hello! We will be traveling to WDW Dec 20th to 30th. We'll be @ AKL-Kidani till the 25th and then we're at Saratoga Springs. We've stayed at AKL before-its our DVC home but never at Saratoga Springs. This is going to be one heck of a trip->We're celebrating two graduations, 4 bday's (including a 1st and a 60th!), our 5th wedding anniversary and our first holiday/first "family" trip. We're bringing both sets of grandparents, an auntie, two uncles and several babies.
DH has visited every 2-3 years since he was five! My first trip was our honeymoon and since this is our 2year old dd's first trip I'll just let you guess when we visited last ;-) Besides dd it is our newbies first trip/first Christmas/just about first bday.
I'd love to hear from/get in touch with anyone who's been with young multiples before. I'm feeling fairly unprepared (maybe even a bit nuts but come on with that much to celebrate was there anywhere else to go?)
I'm excited to have everyone together to share in the magic. I can't wait to see my dd meet some of her favorite characters. But perhaps I am most excited to ride the carousel with her. She loves them, always wants to ride when we see one and I do not think she has ever seen one as big and beautiful as Disney's.

Welcome to the DIS! We have gone every year since my first DD was 15 months old. She is now 7 and my little one is 4. I love our Disney vacations, each time it is like it is brand new to them! Some tips off the top of my head are: take breaks when the little ones need to, keep hydrated and sunscreened, and go with the flow. It is a different touring style when you have kids in tow, imo. There is so much for the little ones to do, they can ride any ride that doesn't have a height requirement. And lastly, learn where the baby care centers are and use them! Don't worry, you will have a great time, enjoy! :santa:

Just had to say...I booked my flights today!! They went down about $200 since yesterday! I am so excited right now!! :)

Thanks! See, I'm in a quandry. I want to do the dessert party. I'm in MK Sat & Tues.

If I go Sat, it means we will miss the electric light parade .... if I go Tues before the 10.30 parade, I may not get to the parade on time. If I go to the earlier parade we'll have to pitch up long before to get a good spot which is time that could be used elsewhere (plus I have a dinner ADR to factor in).

Oh what to do! This whole Disney malarkey is way too complicated

Has anyone started their touring plans?

I have and they keep changing LOL It's difficult trying to figure out how much time everything will take when you've never been there before! I don't want to run us like crazy, but I want to do everything :(:rotfl: LOL

Yes, gets very confusing. I teach, so once school goes back, vacation planning takes a back burner. I use the touring plans website to help plan all those days.
