Valgoof, I am waiting for SW still. I looked at the flights schedule for November, October and last year and they are very similar. So I am just assuming.

Where did you find last year's schedule?

Thanks! :)

I also want to try and do candlelight processional but am worried my daughter won't be quiet for it.

If you don't want to commit to the paid dinner & show package, you could always just hover behind the America Gardens Theater... it's an amphitheater, open to the main walkway in front of the American Pavilion.

It's not the best option, not having a seat, but you'd get to see and hear some or all of the production. As much as you want to stand for! :upsidedow And your little one might just sleep in a stroller, if you have one.

Me too except I'm worried she wont sit still for it. I like the idea of hanging out , outside the theatre and listening... that way she can run if she needs to. Thanks PP!!

I am SOOO there with you!! :) Spreadsheets, pages and pages of information, more tables, budgets, itinerary...people say I'm obsessive...I say no I'm not, I'm going to Disney at Christmas - you HAVE to plan it out! :)

Jen

My spreadsheets have colors and formulas - so that I don't have to keep updating multiple pages if one thing changes. ;) And I keep clipping new info to Evernote. It's amazing after all this time, how many "new" things I keep finding.

Honestly, I'm like this for most of my trips. But at least for Disney my family knows that it's necessary. :thumbsup2

I am so confused! I am thinking of switching to december 22-26 to be there for christmas just uinsure how it would be for a 5 & 3 year old any feedback?:surfweb: its also a 400 difference which makes me say umm no but still confused

For me, the crowds would never be worth it. We're booked from Dec 3 - 15. All the holiday stuff, none of the crowds and extra expense.

Although I figure after this trip, actual Christmas will be seriously anti-climactic. :rotfl:

Me too!! I actually told my DH to stop talking about Disney a couple nights ago. He was shocked!! :lmao: I think I have our park days planned and know the ADRs I want, but I still have a few weeks so I'm guessing those will change. Still trying to decide to do MVMCP or not. :confused3

MVMCP is still my biggest sticking point too. We've done MNSSHP twice and loved it. But we're worried MVMCP is going to be disappointing in comparison. So we we had pretty much decided not to do it. Then my FIL sent me an email (we're taking them for their first time) and listed a bunch of stuff he'd like to do, and one of them was the Christmas parade. Of course, in the same email he also said he wanted to do Wishes (not realizing that's standard at MK). So if we do regular Wishes and Parade plus other holiday stuff (resorts hopping, Osborne) then maybe they won't even notice. :confused3

Probably we'll just wait and not decide until after our first day in MK. I have the MVMCP on a day near the end of our trip, a day that would otherwise be an off day. And I doubt tickets will sell out. So we can wait to make a decision. Though I hate having that open loop in the back of my head. :headache:

So I got a pin code for free dining but have to get 2 day passes but have to check in dates 10-13 and I'm not sure if I should do a weekend on go thru week but then mk closes at 8 anyone been at mk when it closes @ 8 pm did u get alot done

Hey guys, I need your help on my Touring Plan and ADR selection. I posted it here on my PTR. Please share your thoughts before I go :dance3:!! Thanks in advance!

SO SO SO TRUE. I feel like I will want to take the Christmas tree down when I return, and that's WAY before Christmas! :lmao:

OMG! I just said that to my hubby!

Now...how can we get a parade and fireworks put on at out house Christmas Eve? :rotfl2:

:rotfl:I was just thinking today after some friends posted their New Year's Eve plans on FB that I should probably plan that. Then realized that our budget will be tapped out by this trip, plus we'll be out of vacation time. But that's okay, because Disney during a low-crowd holiday time is totally worth it!

I have never done either party. We went last December and didnt do the party, but this year we are staying longer. It fits nicely into my "rest" day in the middle of the week. Part of me wants to just wait and see how the weather is and if we want to go, but like you the other part wants to get those tickets ordered and check it off the list. :thumbsup2
AK's parade is Christmasy. Maybe that would satisfy the FIL's request. :goodvibes The decorations are still up during regular MK hours, so it feels Christmasy. And the Osborne lights are amazing!!!! That was my favorite thing last year. But I do want to see the toy soldiers!!! And the gingerbread men. And they add something to Wishes to make it Holiday Wishes. That was helpful, wasnt it?

Last year we went the 2nd week of December. We made it our Christmas gifts to each other and to my younger brother. My mom paid for our offsite condo as our gift. And us paying for everything else for my brother was our gift to her. We brought her back a t-shirt and a magnet, but besides that no one had gifts to open on Christmas. It was horrible!! We are not doing that this year. Gifts are staying in the budget, separate from Disney!! I sound like a spoiled 5 year old, I know. Spending time at Christmas with family is great and all, but I want some presents. :lmao:

Went to Stop n Shop yesterday and cashed in my stack of winning scratch tickets (a lot of $2 and $4 winners and 1 $25) and immediately parlayed them into $125 of the Disney shop/vacation gift cards. Next payment, I use these to help offset the cost.

We're not putting one up this year. Christmas will be at my SIL's since she's the only one not going on the trip. ;)

I will have a small at the resort though. :thumbsup2

We'll definitely still do presents - small presents on the trip and more at home. But won't go overboard. It's funny because last year our trip was in late January. So the previous Christmas most of the presents were Disney themed and I had planned "pixie dust" presents for the trip itself so some of the best things didn't even get opened on Christmas..

Arriving November 29
Leaving December 8
Resort: CBR

MVMCP: DH and DS9 want to do. My mom, brother and I are not interested in going so it probably will be just DH and DS attending.
