Just got a mailer for December dates-- hope this helps someone! looks like a public code, sorry if this has been posted here.

I just got so excited when I saw this in my e-mail. But then I read the next post and got depressed. I will keep waiting, anxiously, until they announce the AP or FL resident codes.

Do you mean for December? The special package offer that's up this morning reads:

Enjoy a FREE dining plan with this great offer! Get a FREE dining plan when you purchase a non-discounted 6-night/7-day Magic Your Way room and ticket package at select Disney Resort hotels, for arrivals most nights September 30 through December 20, 2012.

Or are you January and I'm talking rubbish? It's been known to happen lol

December. But that range still includes blackout dates. I clicked on the link and saw the actua days.

They did say that their Magical Express bookings had dropped over the summer and that it parallels a drop in attendance as well (they use it that wasy because I guess Disney doesn't put out the actual attendance numbers in their reports, or something like that).

Let's hope they open it up a bit more!

Thanks! We're booked on a split stay with room only for the first 4 nights but I'd love to swap some of those first 4 nights into free dining!

I was so sad that we missed free dining the first time!!!! So excited!!! Called and switched back to CSR. But really wanted to stay at POP. Talked to my husband and then called back to book 2 rooms at POP with the upgraded dining. Still saving $400 from my original CSR reservation, and now I got the resort I want, dining, 2 bathrooms and plenty of beds!!!

I keep hoping for them to back it up to at least the 9th too! I'd much rather have another night of free dining & cancel our room only's!

For those who saw this extension to FD, did you all get an email or a mailer, or did you just see it on the site? I assume the blackout dates still cover my stay (Dec 1-8), but I hope I'm at least still on the "list" to get notified of discounts!

It's right on disneyworld.com -I didn't get an email or mailer.

I called this morning and was able to get POP as well....was checking on line and was not seeong POP open, and thought we would do dMusic.....but when I called we were able to get POP as well....still just have the qs but think it will be ok, as we have never been on the DP......only cost us $200 more for the extra day hotel and PH! I told the DH it was some Bday magic!

Disney will not notify you of any new discounts. You need to keep an eye on the DIS and the Disney Special offers site yourself. I check the site everyday

I subscribe to emails/daily digest from Mouse for Less (www.themouseforless.com). Their email came in yesterday morning with the date extension and I dropped everything and called. Didn't even look at the WDW site I was in such a hurry to call lol

I get a lot of good tips from their blogs/emails and some good information in general.
