December 2011 - Christmas with Mickey!! Who's Coming Along and Planning Help Thread!!

Checking in Nov 29th and checking out Dec4. POP Century Resort free QSDP!!
SEE YA THERE!!:thumbsup2

Joining in! We'll be at WL from 12/17 to 12/21 with the just released AP rate. Me, my best friend and my two girls. Our APs expire the 21st, so of course we had to go!

I'm hoping that joining this thread will help me avoid over-planning around meals. I remember thinking last time that I put way too much energy into ADRs and wondering why. I think it is because anticipating Disney is so much fun, and that is something I can do--make/organize/change ADRs. The payoff isn't there though, because the meals aren't why we're at Disney--its the fun in the parks and the resort that matters. So this time, I'm trying to make sure I focus on that.

What activities have people done at WL and enjoyed with young kids (mine are both 7?) I was thinking about biking over to Ft. Wilderness to see the decorations.

We will be at French Quarter Nov. 30 - December 5. It is a girls trip. I have been during the holidays but my friend has not. She is excited to see the decorations. We do have CP for the 1st and we are doing the party on the 2nd! Can't wait!

Can we be added to the list? Must have slipped through the cracks somehow. Campgrounds at Fort Wilderness Nov 28-Dec 13. Thanks.

Also for anyone thinking of staying at the campgrounds, supposedly the free ddp is not applicable to campsites called this morning and thats what I was told. Tempted to cancel outright!

We'll be at AKL Nov 29-Dec 9!! Me, DH, DS (10), and DD (5). December at Disney is amazing!! So festive and beautiful! We're always happy to escape the Minnesota freeze for a little bit :)

We are staying at Windsor Hills Resort from Dec. 3-10. We are going to MVMCP on Sun and the CP dinner package on Thurs. So excited.

Hi, same dates and same date for MVMCP -- I'll see you there :goodvibes (only difference is we are at the WL)

We are thinking of changing our late September ressie to December 11-17th. :) It would be our first time visiting Disney World in December.

I know about how to pack in regards to clothes but is there anything else that is a must to pack for a December trip?

Beautiful :)

I haven't even been to WDW yet and I'm already planning the next trip :sad2: So just out of curiousity when they say Disney is busy at Christmas how bad is it really? Because I would love to go next year from the 23rd-27th, but if it was going to be totally miserable with crowds maybe that would deter me. I figured I would ask in this thread even though its the December 2011 thread you guys probably have a good idea :goodvibes

Me and DH only=) 19th Anniversary trip Dec.8th to 11th::cool1: Tent camping with Christmas decorations at Ft. Wilderness! 2nd camping trip, first time without kids in 17 yrs.

Somehow being added to the list makes this even more real for me! Last year we went to WDW around the same time as this year...just in time for the record LOW Florida weather! We're hoping it's a little bit warmer this time around. :) For those of you who asked about what to bring clothing-wise, I recommend packing clothes you can layer. For example, a long sleeved t-shirt/thermal, sweatshirt, t-shirt, and a jacket. Always check the 10 day forecast before you go because the jacket might not be needed. The last few days of our stay I was in a t-shirt and jeans. However from experience, it's always better to be prepared! :cool1:

bytheblood, you have done an amazing job on this. I'd have went nuts by now, lol.
When you next update, can you switch us. We're now staying at POR & added a day to the end, so December 10-18!! :santa:

Can't wait for December!!
