December 2011 Check-In

This is purely a "hopeful" trip.....won't be able to iron out if it truly is happening for a couple months......but here goes nothing!!

December 5-December 9, staying at the Desert Inn & Suites

First time visit...December 22 - January 1st. Staying at Hojo theme park view.

We are very excited....had planned to go a few years ago and changed our mind to go back to Disney World. This year I promise no changes and DISNEYLAND here we come!

I'm sorry about having to cancel your May trip  Although I hope you're able to make a December trip a reality. Disneyland is something else during the Holidays! As for the rooms at the DLH I'm not entirely sure. At the very least, if not completely finished, I can't see there being that much left by then.

Thanks for your reply Jessica! I've been lurking on your TRs for a while... you take the best pictures popcorn:: I'm still trying to decide if we should do our trip the first or second week of Christmas. I would like to avoid crowds as much as possible so I'm hesitant about going during the CP.

My first time to post on here...Just booked our trip...Nov. 29th thru Dec 4th...Can not wait!!!

Thanks for the Welcome everyone! We will be staying at Del Sol,,we like it because of the location...we have older kids and they can go back to the room anytime! It has been about 4 years since our last Christmas trip!!!

WHOA!!! This was on page 4!!! :scared1: So here's a little bumpety-bump!!

So ressies made, probably a change from what I originally posted:

November 28 to December 3, staying at the HoJo!!!!

Looks like we'll be there from Dec. 23-27 now! Or rather, we check out of our room on the 27th and head home. Probably won't be in the park that day, but will be on the 24th, 25th, and 26th.

Our plans are for Dec 4 - 10, probably at Desert Inn & Suites. :yay:

Laurie, I was excited to see that you were going to be at D.I.S. the same time as us, but you've switched to Hojo! They do have a great deal on the Family Suites for some of those days. Maybe we'll see you at the park!

We are planing on going Dec 5th thur the 9th. Stayng at desert inn. This will be for my daughter's 5th birthday (birthday dec 11th) and her first tirp. We have no plans to tell her until we are there where we are going this may be a very long drive with her asking where are we going every 5 mins of a 5 or 6 hr drive then add in a 11 mo old (birthday Dec 23rd) but it will be a great time once we get there.

We will be there the same time as you! I'll have to get a Lime Green Mickey so you can say 'hi' when we cross paths. :)
Your daughter will have the best birthday ever!

We'll be there at the same time as well! It will be a great week!!

YAY. We will be going to DLR on Dec. 2nd to the 5th and staying at Anaheim Plaza Hotel. This will be a short holiday trip after our week long trip Sept. 24th to Oct. 1st.

Love having two DL trips to plan for in the same year :) :cool1: :yay: :woohoo:

we will be there on our annual trip! the week after Thanksgiving :thumbsup2

we drive our camper up and stay on the cheap so we can spend a little more in the park. i  holiday treats @ DL!! & we always eat lunch at least one time at the Cafe Orleans.

we were going to stay a night or two at a DLR hotel so we could get a magic morning at CA, (Ariel & Toy Story Midway Mania). but I checked the rates and :scared1: they are crazy high! IMO it stinks that annual pass holders don't get magic mornings.

either way.... already getting excited fir our trip :)

I am posting here for luck. I am crossing my fingers and hope to be there in December 2011!! WE are thinking December 22-26, possibly driving down from Seattle. I am actually really surprised about the hotel rates, cheaper then I expected. We will likely stay at the Anabella, we stayed there last summer and like the Casita Suite set up. But the Hilton and Marriott have some good rates too. Right now the entire trip could be under $2,000 for our little family of three. DH wants to drive straight through, so we would probably do a day of no park once we arrive. We'll see. Hope to also maybe budget in a stop at Universal.

Please, send me all kinds of pixie dust that we can make this work!!! I have wanted to be there at Christmas time so, so, bad! I was once as a kid, and just don't remember all the decorations like I see them in pictures now. And DD would love it!!!
