December 2010 CANCELLED ADR Thread - Read 1st Post (UPDATE 12-5)

Scooped up a Coral Reef lunch this morning, and it's still showing availibilty for the same time. Either someone canceled a really LARGE party or they've opened up a few new slots. Here's what I saw:

I think that there are alot of lurkers who know that these arranged cancellations occur on the hour or half hour and scoop them up. JMO

And just a quick question, is it true a lot of last minute cancellations will start to happen the week before trips?

The 2 of the 4 ressies I've been wanting have just magically appeared in the past few weeks though I'm still down 2. I just stalk the reservations page every other hour with fingers crossed. Pixie dust to those still trying like me.

I think it may be a mix of that and people that book a ton of ADRs at 180s out start to cancel them as they decide what their final plans are and don't need them or want them anymore and will cancel them right before the trip.

There are tons of people that cancel ADRs and don't know of Disboards or post their cancellations so I would bet it would be people canceling their not needed ADRs over WDW just opening up slots.

Thanks We've always done Crystal Palace but the oldest always asks to see Mickey.
