Did you try to get a mod or deluxe when you called with your PIN? Sometimes they have these available as well, but just quote the value rate on the post cards.

I did not. Not sure if we can really afford it with only booking 6 months out! Im just disney dreamin'....hehe

Disney Dreamin... I've been there! Heck, I'm there right now, LOL. I keep telling DH "I wish I could go back to WDW." and I keep running numbers for trips in Aug, Sept & Oct for all the upcoming birthdays. Biggest problem, GETTING to WDW. Even with $200 round trip airfare, I just can't afford it!

I got that email pin a week or so ago for the room rate through October. I actually got it at 3 different email addresses. Does that mean my dreams of an email or snail mail pin for free dining are not going to come true?

I'm jumpimg on this thread as maybe there will be a chance of a code coming out over our winter break

We went last yr between christmas and new yrs and of course its the busiest time of yr which ='s not discounts or codes. But we get out of school on the 18th so maybe if I can get a code I can extend those dates.Has anyone been able to extend through christmas at all?

If not we'll just stay off property but at least we'll be in WDW

I came home last night to a Free Dining Flyer in my mailbox! But wouldn't you know it, it was NOT in our family name...but in the name of a another family we went to Disney with in 2007. ARGH!

I know we won't be able to use it, but I'm going to call anyways...I know they are not going to go. Not real big WDW fans,actually. Such a waste!

No,no...our friends that got the PIN aren't big fans. We showed them a good time, but they are in no hurry to go back...oh well, I guess those are the people that Disney wants to entice with a PIN.

Sorry Pete! That really stinks that you couldn't use it.

Still no codes for my dates. I'm greatful that at least I booked using an AAA discount. I tried calling to switch my resorts and neither CBR or WL had rooms left with the AAA discount.

Well, no code for me in email or snail mail.

I did get the 35% off for Visa members, but that only goes through 10/3, but I did call to see if I could get any discount anyway. No luck. She did tell me that they are continually coming out with offers, so I should book now and then I can change. Well, I have already booked! It just wasn't direct, it was with AAA. I know I'll have to go through them for any changes, but I wanted to call Disney directly to see if there was a discount I could get.

I'll still hold out hope that free dining or some other discount will come out for Vissa members (or the elusive PIN code that I get!!!)

but how can you be sure they have proper addresses etc to send codes? I get the Disney Insider via email, and I get some fliers in the mail--does that mean they have all of my info? Just want to be sure!! Thanks!

Since the pin code is good for 4 night/5 day stay and we have already booked our stay for 5 nights/6 days - how will this work? We're booked through AAA and my travel agent is out of the office today, so I won't get an answer from him til tomorrow. I know someone here will give me the answer before I can get to my travel agent!
