How do codes work? We already booked our room for Dec so if a code or promo becomes avail...will we still be eligible?

Not all resort and room types are included as part of most code deals, but as long as your dates/resort/room type are available as part of the code, you willbe able to "apply" the code to your existing reservation. If not, you may have to change your res (like dates or room type) to take advantage of the code.

The Mickey gods smiled down on me today and sent my hubby a snail mail card with a pin for FREE DINING!!!

Luckily it covers our travel time in December, so I'm gonna call tomorrow to apply this pin to our ressie!

I've been running to the mailbox when I get home each day. We went to Disneyland this June and now I have the chance to complete the full circle with an Anniversary stay at WDW if we can get the free dining in December. Was the snail mail part of the Disney Visa Card mailing or was it just from Disney Destinations?

I talked to a lady at Disney and she said that there is a good chance that Disney Visa will annouce free dining this Christmas season again. There were no pin codes attached to my name though. Looks like I need to keep an eye out in the mail and on the Disboards.

Mine was also from Disney Destinations. I was surprised that it came in my hubby's name, however, we just signed him onto my account with the Disney Visa...so perhaps it was related to that?!

Me too. I actually went to my mailbox 3 times yesterday hoping there would be a postcard in there. I may not get a pin, but maybe I'll lose some weight with the extra walking.

Got my code yesterday called this morning. I have brand new spankin ressies for Dec 10th thru Dec 17th with park tickets and FREE DINING. I don't remember being this excited in a long time. Osbourne Lights here we come.

The card came from Disney Destinations. It had a 15 number pin and it was from 8/23 - 10/1 and 11/29 - 12/17. I miss spoke you had to get a package that included tickets - Sorry. I was just excited about getting the code and actually getting to go. 7 days at Pop Century (standard room) $1249.00 for 2 of us.

I kinda thought that. Or the other thing I though was wow Disney is getting desparate for people to go. First free dining then free tickets. Wow what's next.

Sounds like my Pin deal- 7 nights at ASMo, tickets and free dining for around $1249. I am dreaming of a deluxe as it will be our honeymoon, buuut I guess I cannot complain about getting free dining! Maybe someday we will be able to stay mod or dx!

Did you try to get a mod or deluxe when you called with your PIN? Sometimes they have these available as well, but just quote the value rate on the post cards.
