DECEMBER 2008 *duh dun dunnn* Facing My DISNEY fears!!!!

Welcome to My *new* PRE-TRIP REPORT!!

During this pre-trip report I will be stating some things that might be overly hilarious to you, but yet embarrasing to myself. For example, I will soon state why my pre-trip is called what it is called.

We will be staying at Disney's Polynesian Resort from December 11th-19th 2008. It may seem far to you, but to me time has been flying!! Considering it has been 1.1 years since my last Disney trip (HOW AM I SURVIVING? ).

There will only be three of us going on this trip, and unfortunatly there will be no pictures of us, as for it will destroy our secret identities. So, we can be called the invisibles!! ALL HAIL THE INVISIBLES .

Right, so what are my Disney fears?!

JOKING!!

No, really...I am.

Anyways...my fears of Disney are:
a)It's Tough To Be A Bug-Spiders case closed.
b)Space Mountain-Funny story.
c)Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring AEROSMITH (WOOOOT). I wonder why I am so afraid of this ride?

I know what your asking, "Why are you going on these rides if you are so afraid of them". And the answer is simple. It's because life is too short to have fears, you need to relax, take a deep breath and just do something even if you are deathly scared of it (NO...NEVERMIND).

Ok, i'm obviously alone on this pre-trip.

185 days !! In 5 days we can make our ADR's!! Here's what places we will be eating at:

Breakfast:
-Kona Island x3
-Grand Floridian Cafe x3
-Captain Cooks
-Boma-The Flavors of Africa

Lunch:
-Yak & Yeti
-Earl of Sandwich
-Cookes of Dublin
-Grand Floridian Cafe
-Other little counter service spots

Dinner:
-Boma-The Flavors of Africa
-Other little counter service spots

I really like buffets because you get to try some new food, and you get to choose how much of each food you want to eat. I hail to thee who created buffets .

Story #1-The Space Mountain Disaster!!
Story 1 takes place in the year 2000, it was my very first trip to Walt Disney World and I was quite a small little girl back than. I had never really been to any theme parks other than Wonderland, which I might add I didn't like at all. So, you can imagine Disney blew Wonderland away 10x. When we walked through the Magic Kingdom and I saw the Cinderella's Castle, my eyes lit up and joy filled my mind. I couldn't believe what I was seeing!! Anyways, we decided to head on Space Mountain first. What happens next I blame on whoever forced me to go on this ride. Noo...I don't hold grudges. So, we got into the little ride vehicle and that was it for me. We took off and next it seemed like I entered a horror house from all horrors. I screamed my head off, began crying and might I add began yelling at the top of my lungs, "STOP THE RIDE!! STOP THE RIDE!! I JUST WANT TO GET OFF!!". Let's just say that the darkness and the not knowing where you will be going next got to me. My family was scared that I was going to jump out of the ride (never), so somebody had to hold onto my shoulders. When we got off the ride my face was white as a ghost and the tears were streaming down my face.
From then on I was afraid of the dark.

It's kind of embarassing when I think about it now, because it's just a ride...but yet it's a scary one. SO THIS IS FEAR # 1 THAT IS BEING CONQUERED.

In some ways I don't want my trip to come that fast because of the fact that when we return from the trip it will be yucky winter time, and lots of snow. .
