we just made our plans last night....5 nights akl villas 1 bedroom dec 12-17 yahhh....but i have to wait till jan 12, 08 to book because villas only book 11 months in advance....next year in the year we dont have all 3 kids for christmas day so we are going to have an early christmas day on the 17 th...they just dont know it.I am going to put some presents under the tree and we are going to cook a big christmas breakfast.so I will be waiting on a code...we are fl.res. so there should be a fl res. code some time this year...

we just got back Tuesday and now ready to book for next December! Hubby ABSOLUTELY LOVED this time of year. And since we were spoiled and got upgraded for free from garden wing to atrium club level at CR, I need to start saving!

I had a chance to read the whole tread today I placed a hold with WDW for Christmas week 2008 12/22 to 12/26 AWL savanna view with dining. I wish we could go when there are discounts availiable

We are taking a mom, grandma and grandaughter trip. We are thinking Decmber 5-14. Hoping to get a discount code. Does anyone know if they are currently offering bounceback for this time period? We are going in March/08 and would love to get a bounceback offer.

Watching and waiting for codes. Made reservations at Grand Floridian. Just got back 11-26 to Dec. 2. Had a wonderful time with the four children and grandparents.

We've got AKL from 12/7/08 thru 12/13/08 and a bounceback for MNSSHP from 9/21/08 thru 9/26/08. Our recent trip was nothing like what we had ever experienced 2nd week in December. Lines were long and it was very crowded compared to years past. It seems everyone's starting to go earlier to avoid the crowds during the 3rd & 4th week of december, but this has just caused more problems for people going 2nd week in december. I'm thinking about canceling our december vacation an only going in September. I'm still undecided but everytime i think back on the crowd levels last week, it makes me want to cancel the trip as i shiver how much worse it will be next year. i could really use a right about now.

I hate to here it was so crowded we are planning on Christmas week 2008 I hoping to hear some good reports soon We did DL the week before Christmas 2006, low crowds wonderful trip. We did WDW 1st week of Oct. 2007, low crowds had a ball road all rides as much as we wanted. Now, to Christmas 2008 , I know it will be crowded and busy, but the thought of staying at AKL over Christmas just over powers the good sense to go at a less crowded time.

But HEY, we'll be at Disneyworld ....and Disneyworld crowded is better than anywhere it's not....sorry, just had to add a bit of humor so we don't stress 12 months out...let's save that for when we try to get ADRs!!

I am really starting to second guess my reservations. I made one for 12/6-12/14. We are staying at POP. Not only are people now saying that Pop Warner week is that week, they are saying that the crowds this year at that time were horrible!!
I am thinking about switching it to the first week in November. Does anyone think I should, or should I just keep my reservation? I would have to pay a little more to go during November, but I'm wondering if it's worth it.

Any thoughts? Help!

we just returned from POP on Dec 20th. I want to go again next year from Dec 1-18 and stay at pop again. Hopefully this is not the Pop Warner time.

I'm worried about Pop Warner now too. I do think eventually, that it's going to be a madhouse no matter what time of the year you go. It's the magic of Disney.

I'm seriously thinking of booking sometime in December 08. We'll be going in September/October for the Free Dining but if I can book it just right....I may can get hubby to do one more trip for Christmas LOL We've been going in Sept/Oct for so many years that we've forgotten all the wonderful Holiday decorations and the snow, the castle...just all the Holiday magic. I really really want to go back at that time of year, but hate to wait till 2009 LOL
