December 2008 2008 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

Check the park hours and firework/parade times if you've arranged your dinner ressie based on these things. I just had to cancel a Sci-Fi ressie on Dec.19 at 510pm because there is now only on Fantasmic that night at 630pm. Desperetly looking for a Fantasmic Dinner Package for this night at any location!!

Also looking for a Dec. 17 1900 Park Fair later than 8pm and
an earlier than 930pm Crystal Palace on Dec. 21.

All for party of four.

My frined gave me a reservation for Crystal Palace. I called in today with her name, phone #, reservation #. The CM told me the only way they can do it is my friend needs to call in first to cancle, then I need to call in again to get it. I asked what if someone snatch the ressie before I called in, the CM said there is nothing she could do....

Just tried your fist suggestion. No,they won't let her just change the name on the reservation......


Finally, a CM let her cancled hers and immediately let her make a ressie for me, with all my info. Fortunately, no one snatch in between that 10 seconds gap.

I feel the system is rather dumb. How hard will it be to change a name on the reservation....

The 2nd CM told me: if you are paying OOP, you can use another person's reservation, just give her name/#. However, if you will be using DDP, you must have the reservation under your name.

I called yesterday and put a ADR i had in a persons name on this board...I told the CM I was giving a ressie to a friend and she said no problem....All she asked for was the name and ages and switched nad used the same reservation #...no issues

I just scored the Crystal Palace on 12/16 @ 5:00. Same night I'm doing MVMCP so I am thrilled!! The CM told me that the cancellation had to have just happened because she had been checking for others for that day all morning. She said it was in HIGH demand because of MVMCP that evening.

We will be at the MVMCP that day too! I was able to get a LTT from one of the fellow diser's for 5:15!
