December 2008 2008 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

I just wanted to share this for those who weren't aware: if you are staying at a Disney resort and therefore eligible for extra magic hours you can book your dinner reservations during the emh time. I was surprised today as I was able to get an adr at Liberty Tree Tavern (8:45) and one at Prime Time Cafe (7:55) for my son's trip in a month! I never realized that the table service restaurants stayed open during emh!!!

WAHOO!!! I just got a little Pixie Dust!!!

I was able to finally get Tusker House for 3 on 12/23 at 8:20am!!!!

Well you inspired me and it paid off!!! I've been calling for over 3 weeks for a Chef Mickey's during Christmas and nothing, nothing nothing.....i saw this post today and called again (2nd time today) AND GOT IT!!! Christmas eve at Chef Mickeys! I can't believe it! My boys are going to flip out! This is their absolute must-do and because we scheduled our trip so late we didnt think we'd get it!!!

I will cancel a Crystal Palace ressie for party of 5, 12/24 i think at 4pm (i'll have to double check the time, but its right around there). I'll cancel it tomorrow if someone want's to PM me I can let you know when I do it!

I had to cancel a Le Cellier ADR. I booked it in JULY!!! It killed me to cancel but I know my kids are not going to sit for a nice meal too often (knowing that they're in WDW and can be seeing something other than the inside of a restaurant!! ) Had to pick and choose and chose Yachtsman's Steakhouse over Le Cellier.

I have to say, by giving up Le Cellier I was able to get a Chef Mickey's at 5:30!!! I'm now convinced when you let go of a good ADR, one will come your way!!!
