I want to cancel it. I am looking for dinner (any time) party of 2 or 4 people, on the 11th at Chef Mickeys.

Does anybody have a dinner reservation at Chef Mickey's they want to give me or trade?

Funny you should mention this. I also have a Chef Mickey's breakfast that I'd like to trade for a dinner. It's for a party of 8 on 12/7 @ 11am. But would like a dinner before 7pm. We're going to MVMCP that night so it can't be a late time.

I have CM on 12/7 for 9 people (1 table) at 8pm. I know you'd prefer dinner before 7 'cause of MVMCP, but if you decide you'd like to trade your breakfast for this dinner, PM me. We have a fireworks cruise that night & can't use it.

If you do not have any use for a ressie, just give it up and cancel it. There are people looking for ressies and would love to have a great time if only some people would stop being selfish and greedy holding on to a ressie that they have no use for.

I dont even know why I am getting in the mix with this last post BUT it was a little harsh!
While I agree that it can be frustrating not being able to get the ADRs that you want. And yes it can be annoying that people hold on to them if they REALLY dont need them but live with it! Everyone here is paying thousands of dollars to go on vacation and it isnt anyones fault that we all need to make ressies 6 months in advance ( esp if you dont plan your trip that far in advance)
Patience and persistence are key here!
Chances are at the 45 day mark you will be able to call and get ressies from people who were forced to cancel because they couldnt afford the trip!
I dont think that anyone needs to come on here and be nasty about it though.
We are all trying to help each other out and I have been more than lucky to get Le Cellier and CM from someone without having to trade a thing!
I also have offered other ADRs to other people and not because I dont want or need them but because I know other people are looking for things that I can live without!
I offered up 2 or 3 this week out of the kindness of my heart. And if someone doesnt want them, I wont cancel them but will rearrange my plans to accomodate my ADRs even if it means PHing.

Normally I am not one to "speak up" but I was really offended by the tone and nonsense in wubbzy's post.
I really enjoy this board and am so happy to have met such WONDERFUL,KIND people- especially the girls in CT, letthewookiewin, and pinkgoddess76!

It doesn't matter what the topic may be, there will always be bad apples out there who will disagree with whatever you are doing, and will come along to put a damper on your day. The best thing you can do is ignore them and go on living your happy life. If people want to be negative and sour, let them. It won't spoil my day.

Absolutely!! This board is to direct some of our pre and after DisneyWorld magic. Those are not magical words or advice (in any respect) and could have been dealt with in a MUCH better way.
In fact there are many who don't cancel their reservations, and walk in guests are accepted the day of. We are trying to help each other out to create the Fairy dust we are all desiring.

That being said, I have been trying for a while to get reservations at either Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare for the day we fly in. Dec 13th. I have called daily, some times twice daily, and have finally got my reservation, at a perfect time for us since we are flying in around noon. So persistance is the key to anyone's sucess. I didn't blame those who had their reservations, and whom may not use them. What is meant to be, will be. Everyone on this board is great and full of help!
