Just curious why people keep posting something that they cancelled. It's usually taken before any DISers even get a chance to call and take it.

But sometimes it is not already taken. I appreciate the heads up. At least it gives me hope

Because I didn't know if there would be any openings for the other restaurants I was interested in when I called. There was, so instead of double booking for that meal I cancelled and posted it on here right after.

I'm freeing up the reservation for someone else, not necessarily for someone on the DIS, but I'll certainly give you all a heads up as soon as it happens.

I was able to snag a Ohana breakfast for December 22nd at a decent time.

I am calling several times a day to fill out my schedule. Keep trying because the CM's always tell me that cancellations are coming in at a slow but steady pace.

I was calling for another reason and spur of the moment just decided to see if I could change my CP ressie from biergarten to teppan edo and one had luckily opened up. So I cancelled mine right away because it was a CC ressie and I didn't want to have a double booking.

I read somewhere that if you had a double booking disney may cancel one of them. Not sure if that's true or not but didn't want to take a chance.

I have seen several postings where dis'ers snagged a reservation someone posted that they had just cancelled.
