December 2007...who's going?

ok, we are updated.....2n @ POFQ, 7n under DVC booked at BWV (but wait-listed at WLV) !!!!

Dining starts June 12th for us !!!!

I understand your anxiety - I have bouts of it myself. We are going 12/27-1/1, from what I understand the worst possible time in terms of crowds. Here is what I am doing. First, by planning you are ahead of most people. Second, the advice I keep hearing from people that were there during very busy times (late Dec., Easter) is to get there early in the morning. Parks do not get filled up and crazy until later in the day (11 or later). This one is going to be tough with a teen (which is the situation I am facing). The plan is to just let DD know - either you get up early or very few rides, your choice! Third, I think a mind set. I decided that we will do what we can, we will enjoy what is there, if we spend more time watching shows and parades then that is fine. I will try to avoid the long (2-3 hour) lines, but if need be (if kids want) we will do that too.
Even with all that, I am thinking - what did I get myself into.....

We made another change, once again. This time, we'll be at POR from December 19th-January 1st. We decided to arrive the night before and get the most out of our time there.

Hey everyone!! We are joining in on the fun! My In-laws are taking all of my family to Disneyworld Dec 25-Jan 2. We have 3 boys 7.9.15. This is their first time!!! i have bben there 5 times before they were born. I know this is a crazy time to go- I want to make the most of it. We are Staying at the port of Orleans. This will be a Grand gathering.

I can finally add us to the list ... YAY!! We are going to be staying at CBR from December 1-9, 2007. It will be for my son's 6th birthday. Anyone know how the decorations are at CBR for Christmas?

I can officially be added to the list now too! We arrive after Thanksgiving until Dec. 6th. Yeah! Can't wait to return to the Polynesian and Disney World!

We (Me & DH, DD 6, DS 7, DS 11) will be staying at POR!

So excited! Both Boys have birthdays while we are there. Thinking of celebrating with an Illumnations cruise

Thinking (Hoping to get the $ actually) to surprise DH with the Petty Driving Experience as an early Christmas gift.

We were there 12/2005 & loved all the decorations! This time we will forego the Mickey Christmas Party (so not worth the money for us -- way too crowded to enjoy). We are spoiled from the lack of crowd during our 2005 visit. Hope 2007 is just as lean on crowds, but the weather warmer (we brought the winter down with us in 2005)

I will be there Dec 1-9th. Nothing booked yet, waiting for the discounts to drop. I went for 4 days Dec 1-4 in 04 we paid only 49 bucks a night at ASM, I must be patient!!

We are either going for WL or Poly or both. LOL We can plan together!!
My best friend and I are going to be there the entire time, however we are having random family members coming down just for the first 5 days. At one point we will have to have 5 rooms for 12 people!!
