December 2007 Waitlist Thread

Woo-Hoo! A studio (SS) just came thru for Dec. 25th and 26th.....I cancelled a 1-BR for those dates
(Hope is goes to someone on the boards!!!)

I am STILL waitlisted for (1) Studio (SS) for Dec. 27th.......
and (3) Studios for Dec. 25th - 28th (to replace the 1-BR reservations)

I just closed today on 100 points at SSR. I was wondering if you think I would be able to get a studio at SSR or anywhere for the 2nd week in December, or do you think it's too late?

My waitlist for 12/31 came through today!! I'm booked for a 1 bdrm for 12/31-1/3 at SSR. I am now waitlisted for a studio for that time frame to try to save points. It's no big deal if it doesn't come through. I'm just glad to have gotten something for 12/31.

Congratulations on your waitlists for NYE coming through! I'm still waiting for my NYE waitlist to come through. I have a preferred view studio booked at BWV, but am waitlisted for Boardwalk view. I went on the waitlist at 1PM on February 1, and I'm growing impatient waiting. Keeping all fingers crossed!

I just got back and checked my waitlist and it came through! We were waiting for a studio for Dec 9. Yeah! I hope everyone else gets theres soon!

I just went on a wait list Friday for December 31st and January 1st for anywhere on property. I have December 28th, 29th at the BWV boardwalk veiw. SSR for the 30th waitlisting for BWV. I may go ahead and book at the swan or dolphin as a back up for the last 2 days. Susan

I saw this so we called last night to check on our WL and the CM said there was still no availability for a studio Dec 2-8. Of course she wasn't really all that friendly/helpful, but we never seem to get an MS CM who is.. it always seems like we're bothering them/wasting their time when we call about our WL. It makes me not want to call...

I always have a helpful & friendly CM. Try to be lighthearted, even cheerful when you call. That attitude does rub off. Your friendliness will be percieved & echoed by them. Try it. It works.

I always try to be very nice! I work with client/customer contact everyday, so I hope I do a good job of being cheerful!

We decided to cancel our WL for December and book at POFQ. I'm excited; I've never stayed there before. We were just too nervous about missing good flight prices. I hope someone on here gets the two days we canceled that we did have!!

Wait List for (SS) 1- Studio for Dec. 27th came through - I now have a Studio for 5 nights (Dec. 23 -28th) - Hooray!
Still wait listed for 2 more Studios (to replace (2) 1-BR ressies) for Dec. 25, 26, 27.............
I am happy to see that Studios are coming through to replace my 1 -BR, resies little by little....
(Trying to savepoints for another time)
Hope someone can benefit from my 1-BR 'returns'

Ok, just got on the waitlist. I called yesterday and was able to book a studio at BWV (boardwalk view if you can believe it!) for Dec 14 & 15. Got on the waitlist for Dec 13 and 16, but I only need one night. Whichever comes in first - if it comes in....

HOLY COW!!! A BWview studio! Congrats! The weekend nights seem to be easier to get, though. It's those Sun-Thu nights that are rough. I'm sure one of them will come through, though. Good luck on the remaining night!

I just 'gave back' (1) Studio at SSR for Dec. 23 & 24 - No problem changing to a 1 BR for Dec. 23 & 24th ) -
Now I have confirmed (1) Studio for Dec. 23 thru 28 - (1) 1 BR for Dec. 23 thru 28 -----Still waitlisted for (2) Studios for Dec. 25 thru 28 -
I decided if the (2) Studios come thru & we change out from the 1 BR We should have at least (1) 1 BR. for the entire 5 nights to 'congrgate' in and make use of the Washer/Dryer, and Full Kitchen.............
I hope the Pixie Dust just released comes back to me!!!

I know I was shocked! I checked 3 weekends in Dec and that was the only one that had any nights at BWV and it had all 3 views for fri and sat. I am skeptical that the other night will come thru though.


Is anyone waitlisted for Dec 2 - 6 (or any of those nights) for BWV 2 bedroom? I have that booked and I am probably going to have to cancel it It was supposed to be a 3 generation girls trip, but now my mom is saying she can't afford it....I will probably give her another month to see if her financial situation changes and then I will cancel it.

So if you are waiting for those nights at BWV, don't give up! Also my sister has the night of Dec 6 in a standard view 2 bedroom (we were going to link them together) and I think she will be cancelling that at any time.

YES! The Pixie Dust Sprinkle must have worked ----My last needed Studios at SSR came through - So I'm all set with 3 Studios and (1) 1 BR for 12.23 - 12.28 - HOORAY!
Still waitlisted for 12/30 - 1/01 for 2 Studios at any Resort....-I'm really being a 'piggy' now......
