I'm going to call back later today or tomorrow, since the person I taked to said that the only rooms for that code were the All-Star, even though Mods and Dlx is showing rooms when I check it on the web site.

I called a few minutes ago and was told the FET code dining coupons where $20 value, $50 mod, $75 delx, $100 dvv.

The person checked using that code for the night Dec 14-17 and said that NOTHING was avaliable but the All Stars.
Then we tried the FES code (without dining coupon) and still nothing.

Which doesn't make sense because using the on-line booking system I show the Mods being $110 std and $125 water, with the AKL being $155 sts and $170 pool.
(no WL avaliability).

We can't spend too much on this trip, because we're taking that 15-day cruise in May.

HUM...last night I was playing with the thought of doing a split stay and POP was available for 12-14 to 12-17. We were going to stay there the first few days and then the WL the last 2 but when I checked this morning before calling to do the split, the original dates that we wanted 12-15 to 12-19 were avail at WL CV and I called and switched from the FQ. I would have rather gotten a standard view due to the cost but we have wanted to stay at WL at Christmas time for the last 2 years and was not able to get a ressie for less than rack rate so we are pretty happy about being able to book with the FL resident code. Yes, because last year the WL was all gone, so I booked at the AKL. I kept checking every day, and after a while, a Woods view room at the WL showed up.
I would have rahter got the Courtyard view, but none never showed up.

You know I would book the stay with the FL code and then after they give you your conf # ask if they can please apply the free dining card to your ressie! Maybe that is why it worked for us? Who knows? I will not hold my breath because I already have doubts about these cards as there is no way to get in writing that you were told over the phone you will get one. I have issues with trust, can you tell? I hope to get the $75 card she just said we could have. If we get there and they say NO you do not have it on your ressie I will be sad, but not mad. Free food is AWESOME!!

Website has POFQ available at AP rate for my dates, but when I called the
CM said there were no mods available....I have Pop for mid December with the food gift card. I'll keep trying.

...I have a question (not sure if it was answered here already...): IO got a code card in the mail yesterday for discounts in December, but they are only till 12/23. If we book to ARRIVE before this date, but depart AFTER it, will our rate increase for the booked day after the 23rd, or will we have to make 2 separate ressies?? MIA

Hi Kimmie!

Yes unfortunately what others have found is that your rates will rise to the "holiday rack rate" on the 24th. You won't need 2 separate ressies however. They will automatically adjust it and charge you the higher rate for the "holiday" period.

I have to share. I originally tried to get the code for room only, AKL Dec 3 - 8, I called the morning the codes came out but was told nothing was available for AKL. Today I called back to add the Disney Dining and the park hopper option to our tickets and tried the disney dining code AND IT WORKED.

Original Cost w/DDP & PH added: $2524.51 Savanah Room, DDP and MYW 5 day tickets + PH option

New Cost: $1854.81 Savanah Room, DDP, MYW 5 day tickets + PH option

Total Savings of: $670.00

I am still pinching myself.

ugh....the whole code thing has me baffled

I am not sure what to think or do........booked AKL package (tickets and dining) and am not sure if it truly is a good deal

and, just got off the phone with dining and the rep freaked me out, she asked me if i was sure i wanted to stay at AKL due to construction

Just booked our December trip (9-16) at the Beach Club and the total was $1929 plus the dining card. That seems pretty decent, what do you think?
